Untouched (Lauren/You)

Chapter 19 : Reconcile Pt 2.

I was awaken from my sleep by me gasping for air. I had had a dream that Lauren was trying to strangle me thank God it wasn't real. I stared at the clock on the wall and closed my eyes for a minute. I decided to take a quick shower and change into some clean clothes before making my way downstairs to find Lauren once again. I was only armed with very potent pepperspray  that I managed to snag and hide under my clothing the night that I went looking for lauren. As I walked towards the door I reached out to test and see if it was locked but strangely  the door opened on its own I peeked out into the hallways and saw nothing but I could hear the faint sound of a television playing downstairs soon followed by Lauren laughing for a minute my heart stopped beating but I needed to find answers and quick I had refused to call the chief for fear that I'd lose my job so I decided to handle things on my own. I managed to sneak into Lauren's room undetected and into her bathroom I glanced around for any clue that she was "not well" I was about to give up my search when the reflection of something caught my eye in the mirror. Something orange.. a medicine bottle. I quickly ran to the bottle picked it up and noticed that the contents were full Eventhough the prescription had been filled over a month ago a month to the day that I arrived here 60 pills were prescribed but 2 were missing which made me think that she had taken at least two within that time period. I carefully placed the pills back into the cabinet and left the room heading downstairs where I could still hear Lauren laughing. As I entered the livingroom  I decided to sneak up on Lauren from behind suddenly the tv shut off I froze in my place
"You're finally awake" Lauren said turning around I was taken aback when I saw that she was smiling, her beautiful green eyes had returned they were no longer dark and cold or crazy looking like they were hours earlier.  "Yeah, I um I got hungry I thought I'd make me something to-"

"Well here sit down babe I'll make you something" she said walking over to me and planting a kiss on my lips I stared at her for a minute as she turned and winked at me my eyes caught sight of her beautiful ass. I quickly turned my gaze to the t.v. why was she acting this way? Then I thought to myself it must have been the pills. "Y/N can you come in here for a minute"  Lauren yelled from the kitchen I walked in and witnessed Lauren tip to ing trying to reach a bowl on the top shelf of the cabinet "Here let me get that" I said gently brushing past her "Here you go" I did placing the bowl in her hand "Thank you" she replied with a smile I sat and watched her closely trying to wrack my brain to figure out what her deal was I couldnt.

*time forward*

I fell asleep on the sofa and awoke to Lauren cuddled up next to me. I moved my arm to wrap around her waist and she moved a little but didn't wake up I felt her move her head to the crook of my neck I felt her lips graze my pulse which sent chills throughout my body. Her breathing became shallow as she drifted back to sleep. I lay quietly with Lauren in my arms  staring up at the ceiling trying to figure out what was her problem clearly she was not taking her medication I was almost killed,beat up, threatened yet she still wanted me, she still loved me, and I was begining to think that maybe just maybe she was becoming obsessed with me.
