Also, I might start doing some of my drawings step-by-step and I'm really debating on doing a shading tutorial (as I think I'm pretty decent at shading) so if you guys wanna see that, please do tell! :D
I'm doing these step-by-step things in hope I'll help you guys evolve your shading, colouring(?) , sketching, etc. etc. (I dunno how I would do that but...I can try! )
1. Sketch - This is the first thing I do:

2. the character - after that I draw out the character.

3. Lining - then line it, mainly with black.

4. Shading - Adding shades where I think is needed, you can get yourself an indicator where the light is falling from.

5. Colours + Finished product - then I add colours if needed, I mainly like to do the splash art, where I add one colour (mainly red) And that's it! :D
