Sydney's POV
It was the day after the soccer match and thankfully, all tension was vanished and everyone was back to themselves. I woke up with Cody's arms wrapped around me and my head on his chest. His breathing was felt because his chest was heaving up and down, causing the same thing to happen to my head.
It was hilariously awkward, to be honest.
After that, we went to the main room where Liam was cooking some breakfast on the stove. I swear down, he was like my mother. The stove was in front of us, with Liam standing behind it, facing us. He was shirtless – from what I could see – with the polka dot apron covering his body. The rest of his body disappeared behind the stove.
My eyes widened when I considered if he actually was naked altogether.
"Erm.. Liam?" I awkwardly muttered, as Cody was snickering beside me.
"Uh huh..?" He looked up at me for a second, sending me a smile, and the then turned back to his food.
"Are you.. Like, not wearing anything?" It was hard to let this out. Really hard. I mean, he was my close friend and there was a... Limit.
"Nope." He popped the p and my eyes widened even more, they literally bulged out of my sockets. My poor, poor eyes.
"What the hell? Put on some clothes!" I frantically exclaimed, and then wondered what would happen if he was to turn around. Oh shit, that's what he was going to do. "Liam, no, don't turn-" I did not want to see his ass. But I was taken off guard and he whipped around, revealing his naked body.
I shrieked, immediately slapping my hands to cover my innocent eyes.
"Liam, put something on.." Cody ordered sternly, holding me and turning me around so I could let go of my eyes and not see Liam.
"Has he...?" I couldn't get the words out, still fazed by what had happened.
"No." He then looked at Liam, who I guessed was still cooking, but the sound of the pans and cutlery hitting the worktop. "Do you not have any shame? There's a girl here." Cody said through gritted teeth, making sure I couldn't see him.
"So what? Can't she still see me?" Liam arrogantly muttered.
"Of course not! She's my girlfriend! She can only see me." Cody defensively exclaimed.
I couldn't help but let a smile crawl it's way onto my lips, and I couldn't take it back either, it stayed there. I don't know why – but when Cody said I was his girlfriend, which I know I am already – but something tugged at my heart.
It made me happy. And this scene was actually hilarious. We could even make a drama out of this, one of those funny TV shows. Like friends or Everybody Loves Raymond. Man, those are funny. I love them.
"Ooh, getting protective are we?" Liam teased.
Just tell him to wear something!
It was as if Cody could read my mental thoughts, "Wear something at least! Or I swear to God, I will chop you up into pieces and cook you like steak on that same pan." He threatened. I bet he was even pointing a finger at Liam.
Liam sighed in defeat, "Soz boz. I'll wear something." After a couple of minutes of crumpling clothes, I figured Liam was finally decent and – I regret this now – whipped around to see a fully naked Liam literally right in my sight. Like.. Everything of his was on show.
"No Sydney don't!" Cody was too late.
And I ended up screaming like a weirdo, "Oh my god. Fuck. Shit. Oh my... I'm never gonna be able to look at him anymore. My life's ruined, everything is. Oh..." I covered my face with my hands, muttering and rambling to myself.
