Sydney's POV ^Liam

Cody: can we meet up? <3

Me: sure

Cody: six tonight?

Me: sure

Cody: local café?

Me: sure

Cody: okay that's three sures in a row, are you OK? :)

Me: oh, didn't notice haha, I'm fine :D

Cody: see you at six ;)

It was currently two in the afternoon, exactly six hours after the heated kiss with Cody. I couldn't wait to see him. I couldn't wait to see his sexy face, his flawless hair, and perfect body.

Oh god, I sounded like an obsessive freak. Wow.

It was five now, and I was officially freaking out. It wasn't even a date, I know, but I had to look good for Cody. I rummaged through my mahogany wardrobe for something simple, yet beautiful.

I smiled once I found it. I climbed into my ripped blue skinny jeans and slid into a crop top. The jeans were high-waisted, meaning my stomach wouldn't show if I wore a crop top. I briefly did my make-up, swiping some nude coloured lipstick across my lips, and putting mascara on.

That's as good as it gets. I slipped my feet into the same white converse I wore earlier on in the morning, and put my hair into a ponytail.

I slipped on a couple of rings, threw my phone and keys into a causal handbag and walked out of my room. There was a knock on the door and I furrowed my eyebrows. Didn't Cody say he'd meet me there?

I opened the door and saw a person I wasn't expecting to see.

"Why are you here?" I rudely asked. I needed to be somewhere man. It was important.

"Can I come in?" Liam asked, and he looked absolutely drained. What happened? Wait, how does he know where I live?

I opened the door wider, inviting him in and he stepped in with a small smile on his face. I sat down onto the couch, and Liam sat down next to me.

"How do you know where I live?" I got straight to the point.

"Small town. I asked people." He shrugged and I let it go.

Whatever.

"What do you need to tell me?" I asked curiously.

"Do you remember what happened last night?" He nervously asked and I nodded slowly, not understanding where he was going with this.

"Well, it was a mistake, it can't happen again." He quickly said, fiddling about with his fingers.

I don't know why I felt a pang of hurt, it was just a one night stand, but I did. And I didn't like it. I feel like a slut.

"Yeah, we were both drunk and silly." I tried to smile but couldn't.

"Yup." He nodded and looked up at me. His eyes were filled with something strange and I couldn't figure out what it was. He flickered his eyes down at my lips and my eyes widened in realisation.

My heart started speeding up.

"Oh fuck it." He muttered, and cupped my face in his hands before bringing his lips to meet mine. Even though I shouldn't have, I reacted, moving my lips slowly against his.

No. I couldn't do this. I feel like I'm betraying both Cody and Liam. No, this isn't right, I shouldn't have done this.

I put my hands on his chest and gently pushed him away. He looked hurt, confused. "I'm sorry, I uh, I can't do this."
