Back in Time

So I decided to put kkumri's character sketches in each chapter. As in this chapter has Nashi, the next will have Storm, and so on.

Ok, enough of me.

Nashi's POV:

Everything was black. I couldn't see anything. Come to think of it, I couldn't feel anything either.

A piercing white light shown through the darkness, pulling me closer to it. I entered the light, and passed out.

I woke up to the feel of pavement on my back. "Uhh, what "happened?" I thought aloud. Then I remembered the events that took place at the carnival. "Welp, I had better figure out where I am." I said as I checked my surroundings. It looks like... Magnolia! Sure enough, it was. But I know my home town well enough to know that something is different. My tone darkened, "Now Alemenimon, just what game are you playing?"

"If this is Magnolia, it should have a Fairy Tail, right?" I told myself. Looking around, I spotted a sign in the shape of my guilds emblem. It read:

                 FAIRY TAIL
                       <<<<
                 THIS WAY!         We're back and better then ever!    

"We're back? Where did we go?" This is getting more confusing by the second! I sighed. "Well, I should probably follow the sign anyways..."

As I was walking in the direction of Fairy Tail, something caught my eye. An article about the Grand Magic Games was hanging in the window of nearby shop. I entered the shop to take a closer look. The shopkeeper greeted me. "Hi there young lady! What can I do for you?" I pointed at the hanging article. "Can you get me the magazine for whatever that came from please?" She nodded and went behind the counter. The shopkeeper returned with a Sorcerer Weekly magazine and opened it up to the article's page. "That'll be 5J!" She said. I handed her the money without taking my eyes of the page. I was only more confused as I read the article. It was about the time my dad won the Games himself by coming in at the last second. "But that was back in X792..." My voice trailed off as I read the article's heading.:
This year's GMG winner is...
                       Natsu Dragneel?
This year?!? That was 15 years ago! It must be an old copy!
A horrifying thought appeared in my mind. 'That can't be it!' I thought. 'I need to make sure that isn't it.'
I closed the magazine and walked up to the shopkeeper. "I'm sorry, I know this is a weird a question, but could you tell me what year it is?"
The shopkeeper looked at me and smiled. "That's quite alright, sweetie! The year is X792."
