Chap 6- Flashbacks

Excitement washed through my body as I got out of Piper's truck.

"Kings Dominion is where we first met Ash and Mickey" Piper told me, and I smiled at Ashton.

"Best surprise ever!" I hugged Piper and Ashton together, then hugged the others individually.

We made our way to the Amusement park, and there was barely anyone there, since it was early Tuesday afternoon. The weather was perfect, the air was cold but the heat of the sun made it warm.

I don't remember much of Kings Dominion, but its beautiful. Fancy fountains right when you walk through the gates, beautifully decorated bushes against fancy fences, and cute little shops lining the way. Just being here made me happy.

Ashton suddenly grabbed for my hand softly and nudged me. when I looked up at him, he smiled down at me, and I smiled at him.

Piper bumped into me excitedly, "Are you ready for some roller coasters?" She yelled, jumping up and down. I laughed at her, nodding. She pulled us to a near by line.

"We met Ash and Mikey in this ride line," She told me, and I nodded in response. I looked at the rest of the guys, Michael's face was one of horror, Ashton looked excited, along with Luke and Calum.

The line wasn't long at all. Each row sat five, so I sat with Luke and Ashton in the front seat, and Michael, Piper and Calum sat behind us so no one sat alone.

Once we started moving up the first drop, Michael and Piper kept yelling curse words, and Ashton grabbed my hand.

Suddenly, as Ashton grabbed my hand, I had a sudden memory.

We started going up, and Piper was yelling curse words at me.

I had my hands at my side, and Near the top at the drop, I was about to lift my arms but Ashton grabbed my hand, holding it tight. I blushed and also held his hand.

I remember suddenly the day I met Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford. Piper and I laughed loudly until Michael and Ashton walked up, and laughed with us. We noticed them, they rode the ride with us, and we spent the whole day with them. Such a small thing started a life with them...

"Ashton... Ashton!" I yelled over the noise of the roller coaster as we were half way up the first hill.

"What what?" He also yelled, holding my hand tightly.

"I remember when we first met! When we first rode this ride together!" I yelled, and he smiled at me. Before he could say anything, though, we went down the first drop, and we all screamed.

"Holy shit, Reese! You're finally remembering stuff!" Piper jumped excitingly as we walked through the park.

"Well, I've remembering stuff slowly, just not something so big," I chuckled, and as I spoke, Ashton put his arm around my shoulders.

We walked around the park and rode rides until it got dark and most people left.

We stayed until a voice came over the speakers of the park had told us that the park was closing. We decided before we left, we would go to the bathrooms, but I didn't have to go, so I stood alone outside.

I was on my phone, then I heard someone cat-whistle from a distance. When I looked around me, I saw there was a group of boys coming towards me.

I did my best to ignore them and kept my eyes on my phone, but as they came closer to me, my heart raced.

"Hey, girl!" I heard one of the guys say, and I couldn't help but to look up. They were right by me, and by the light of a nearby lightpost, I watched them check me out.

"W-what?" I stuttered, feeling my face heat up.

"Oh, don't be nervous, beautiful," one of them came closer to me, "we won't hurt you."

He came dangerously close to me, so I tried to back away, but behind me was a brick wall. I tried to scoot away to the side into the girl's bathroom, but the guy roughly grabbed my arm and yanked me towards him. I yelped, causing his two friends to laugh.
He pushed me against the wall, and put his face close to mine.
The guys friends went on either side of me and grabbed some part of me, causing me to whimper and try to pull away, to no avail.
Then, I had a flashback.

Michael told me a few days ago that I was almost raped in a park bathroom. That memory of the man against me in that bathroom came to me vividly. Especially when he knocked me unconscious, just after Ashton came in and beat the shit out of him.

"A-Ashton!" I yelled, but the guy put his hand over my mouth, muffling my shouts.

Just then, thank god, Ashton and Michael ran out of the bathroom.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Ashton shouted, making the three guys let go of me and stand in front of Michael and Ashton. I ran to Ashton's side, gripping him tightly.

"Come on man, we were just having fun with your little hottie," said the guy, and I could feel Ashton's anger.

"Dude, that's fucked up," added Michael. One of the guys got up close to Michael, and Michael pushed him harshly, causing the guy to fall to the ground.

"What the hell, man?" He said, rubbing where he fell.
Just then Luke and Calum came out of the bathroom, causing the guys to back away and walk towards the exit of the park.
Once they walked away, Ashton turned to me.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you? I swear if they hurt you-" I touched his face, making him stop talking.

"I'm okay..." I said quietly, hugging him.

"Are you sure?" He wrapped his arms around my shoulders. I suddenly remembered the time in the park bathroom, and burst into tears.

"No baby please don't cry! Its okay, I've got you, you're okay..." He held me tightly, kissing all over my face.

"I-i remembered something," I sobbed, "that time in the park bathroom, when that guy was on me, before the accident" I cried harder, though I don't know why.

"Guys, what happened?" Piper finally came out of the bathroom, looking at me confused.

"Some assholes were messing with Iris, but its fine now." Michael filled her in, and she nodded.

"Why are you crying?" She asked me, and I looked up at Ashton.

"We remembered what happened that time at the park, you know, when she was almost raped?" He said, and I whimpered at the mention of it.

"Oh my god!" piper grabbed me from Ashton and gave me a suffocating hug.

"Come on," Luke said, "let's go home, we've have a long day."
