The Fosters: The Shooting on Anchor Beach

Chapter 3

As we entered the house, we went to the living room. Moms said that they needed to explain what happened

"So, turns out the shooter was... Nick" Stef said
Mariana cringed and started crying when she said that.
Callie hold her hand as she saw that Mariana was terrified
"The good thing is that, nobody got hurt. But... The bad thing is, Nick got away before we could have catch him"
"What?" Said Brandon
"How could he get away?" Said Callie
" Well when entered the school.." Stef said before Lena interrupted her
"He ran through the backdoor and escaped"
Everyone was shaken after moms said that, because what happens if he comes to the house and does something.
"What can we do?" Said Jude
"The only thing we can do is, stay here together as a family and lock every door in the house because, the only place Nick would go is here" Stef said
"Don't worry, nothing is going to happen to us if we follow this rules, okay?"
Everyone nodded
Couple of hours passed, and it was already night time so they all went to their rooms.

Mariana's P.O.V
Everyone is in their rooms. So I decided to go to the closet because I needed an extra towel. I went to the closet and I saw Nick hiding with the gun on his hand. Even before I could scream and run, he pulled me back and covered my mouth.
"Mariana, don't scream. If you do something stupid, I will hurt you and your family, so don't try anything stupid, okay?" Mariana nodded
Nick checked the hall to see if anyone was awake. When he saw that everyone was asleep. He grabbed Mariana while point the gun at her and said " Let's go to your room, now!" They walked through the hall as quietly as possible.
When they entered, they saw Callie laying down using her phone. Nick covered Mariana's mouth with his hand and Mariana started mumbling words
"Mariana, talk clearly, I can't understand you" as Callie said that, she turned around and saw Nick holding Mariana while pointing the gun to her head
Callie started panicking and her eyes began to tear up
"Callie, if you try to do anything stupid, Mariana is going to get it"
"Okay, okay"
" So, I want you both to sit down in the bed and listen to me clearly"
Mariana and Callie both sat on the bed and stared at each, not knowing what will happen next.
