Hope for the future

Chapter One

*Sakura's point of view*
    Bodies lay scattered on the battle field, blood contaminated everything and everyone in sight. I see my friends, my precious people lifeless- all because of Sasuke and Madara. It infuriates me to no end to know that Sasuke was involved- after all he was my teammate. The only ones left are the enemy, which by now seems endless, along with Tsunade, Naruto, and myself. I know that all of us have lost hope, anyone can see it if they look into our eyes which have lost the spark of determination.
    I snap out of my daze when I hear Tsunade say, "Thank you for letting me use the last of you and kurama's chakra, Naruto. It's time".
    Next thing I know Tsunade is quickly weaving hand signs, mumbling something under her breathe and I am engulfed in a blindingly white abyss.

    I am awakened by the familiar voice of my mother, which confuses me greatly. Maybe I am in a genjutsu? I make the hand signs and shout "release". Nothing happens, so I can rule out genjutsu but that only makes me more confused. I open my eyes and see atrocious pink walls and "Sasuke and Sakura forever" above my door. Ugh, I cringe internally. I lost the ability to show emotions after I witnessed Sasuke murder my best friend Ino, along with the rest of Konoha 12 ( excluding Naruto and myself).
    I look in the mirror and become frozen in shock. I look like I did before the chunin exams, before my hell began. However what is more surprising is the two diamonds on my forehead, what exactly did Tsunade do???
    Once again I hear my mother shouting for me to hurry or I will be late and won't be able to get put into my team. What??? I guess I will just continue and discover what is going on as I go. But first I need to chop off my long hair, it reminds me to much of my weaknesses. *chop* . Now that I am done with that I need to cover up the seals on my forehead since they would most likely attract unwanted attention. I see a ninja head band on my dresser and put it on my forehead. I look inside my closet and see that girly red dress that I used to wear to get Sasuke's attention, I was so pathetic. I just put on some black spandex, with black shorts over it along with a black ninja tank top with some mesh overtop.
    Now that I am finished with that I run down stairs, where I see my mother. Once she sees me her eyes widen and she says, "Sakura what happened, you're beautiful hair and dress. Are you okay?"
   " I am fine, thank you for your concern. I am off. Goodbye " I say in my robot like tone.
       Then, I grab an apple of the counter and jump across rooftops toward the academy. While doing so I make sure to mask my chakra, it has become a habit of mine.
    When I finally reach the academy I look at the time on the wall and see I have 10 minutes until class starts, so I calmly walk towards my classroom. When I am I front of the door I can already hear my rowdy classmates. I enter quietly hoping not to be noticed but just my luck I am spotted by Ino. Just seeing everyone again makes me feel somewhat happy but also makes me relive their demise.
    " Ooh forehead, what did you do to your hair and your outfit? Are you trying to impress Sasuke?" Ino said. This Ino is not the one I know, she is still a fangirl.
    " Whatever floats your boat, though really it's none of your business " I say. Leaving most of the class shocked my change (since we all know they were eavesdropping). I go into the closest open seat which is in between Sasuke and Naruto.
      Fangirls are about to complain but they are interrupted by Iruka sensei. He lists the teams. " ..... And team seven is Sasuke Uchiha (all of the girls except Hinata and I cross their fingers), Naruto Uzumaki (which is followed by Naruto's protest and Iruka scolding him about the best and last in the class and the balance etc..) and Sakura Haruno".
    *time skip*
Everyone had already left with their senseis while Sasuke, Naruto and I were waiting. Naruto was getting impatient and I knew what was about to happen.
    Naruto got an eraser and began to prop it above the door saying "This is what he gets for being late".
    Sasuke just hnned and I just sat their staring.
    Soon after Kakashi came in and the eraser fell on him. Naruto laughed, Sasuke said "and he is supposed to be a jounin ", while I felt water in my eyes. I quickly looked down and had my hair cover my face. This is too nostalgic.
     *Kakashi's Point of view*
After I let the eraser fall on me I quickly observed the gennins. The blonde one must be Minato's son and also the troublemaker, the black haired emo one must be the last Uchiha and the distant one and lastly the pink haired girl... She looks like she is going to cry, I wonder why but I let her be.
    "My first impression is.... You are all idiots. Okay meet me on the roof" I say. Then I disappear and arrive on the roof.
     "Hello sensei" I hear a feminine young voice and turn around and see the sad pink haired girl, her face no holds no emotion. I am shocked and wonder how she got up here so fast.

*Sakura's POV*
    I arrive at the same time as Kakashi and  decide to say hello since he hasn't seemed to notice me. His eyes widen when he sees me and asks how I got up here so fast.
    "Same way as you sensei" I reply.
    Before he can respond Naruto and Sasuke arrive bickering about who got their first. Kakashi coughs to get their attention. When they see me Sasuke's eyes widen and Naruto shouts at me asking how I got up here.
    Before I can respond Kakashi tells us to sit dow and introduce ourselves. I sit in between Naruto and Sasuke.
    "How do you want us to answer" I reply.
    " Well your name, likes, dislikes, hobbies, dreams. That kind of stuff" he responds.
    "Why don't you go first" I say.
      " My name is Kakashi Hatake, I like a lot of things and dislike a lot of things. Hobbies, I have a lot of hobbies. As for my dream, I never really thought about it" he says.
        "He only told us his name" Naruto mumbled.
      "Okay why don't you go first blondie " Kakashi says.
        "My name is Naruto Uzumaki..ramen. Blah blah blah ramen. And my dream for the future is to become hokage so that people will finally respect me"  he says.
    "Pinkie you go ahead" sensei says.
       "My name is Sakura Haruno. I don't like a lot of things and I have many dislikes. My hobbies, I don't want to tell any of you and my dream for the future is to help Naruto become hokage, to kill a few certain sombodies and to save and protect the people I care about. I have already lost too many" I quickly cover my mouth and try to cover up what I just said by saying "Sasuke it's your turn". At least this will make me feel somewhat better knowing that I kinda stole his intro.

    *Sasuke's POV*
    What the hell??? One moment Sakura is a fangirl the next she is an emotionless robot and now she wants to help Naruto??? And what exactly did she mean by she has lost to many people and that she has people on her hit list??  Too add on she basically said what I was planning to say. I am interrupted by my thoughts when Kakashi coughs.
    " My name is Sasuke Uchiha , I guess I like training and I have too many things I dislike to name off. I don't really have hobbies and my dream isn't a dream because I will make it a reality, I will kill a certain someone" I said.
    "Well you are all very interesting meet tomorrow at 7am and don't eat breakfast" Kakashi said and then he was gone.

Also by now Sakura has the feeling that she was sent to the past so she is just trying her best to feel the will of fire again
