When October rolled around, Susan asked me what I wanted to be for Halloween.
Knowing right away, I said, "I want to be Hatsune Miku for Halloween!"

For the past seven years, Greg helped me create homemade costumes. But now this year, I finally got to wear a store-bought costume.

When the costume finally arrived, it was a perfect fit! I couldn't wait to wear it on Halloween...

By the time Halloween came, I put on my new costume along with the Heffleys and set off to go trick-or-treating at sunset. Greg wore a pirate costume and so did Manny. Rodrick didn't come with us, but his parents did. By the way, I didn't notice until then that the pigtails on my wig were very long.

After we visited several houses, we passed by the Crossland High School where a haunted house was. I had never heard of the Crossland High School but it reminded me of a song I heard.
I told Greg, "This Crossland High School reminds me of "Crossing Field" by LiSA.""

Greg didn't remember what song I was talking about until I sang, "Nemeru chi sana omoi..."

Suddenly, we saw the Jeffersons. Afraid, I hid behind Greg when I saw Jefferson-san.
Noticing Greg, Rowley said, "Hi Greg!"
"Hi!" said Greg who saw his best friend dressed up as a knight. "Cool costume!"
Then, Rowley saw me and asked, "What's wrong, Yukiko?"
I explained, "Remember what your dad did when we were watching Sailor Moon?"
Rowley replied, "Oh yeah... I do..."
Jefferson-san added, "Speaking of this "Sailor Moon"... are you still watching it?!"" He began to raise his voice with suspicion.

I replied, "I finished watching the show seven years ago."
Then, Jefferson-san said: "You better not be watching any of those violent cartoons!"
Now angry, I yelled, "You know what Jefferson-san? I am not six years old anymore and I can watch whatever I want! YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER!!!"

I yelled so loud that it got the attention of all of the other trick-or-treaters.
Jefferson-san got in my face and said, "Calling me 'san'? How about you go back to where you came from!" He began to taunt me.
"Ching chong, ching chong!"
Now in tears, I screamed, "YOU ARE SO RUDE!!! MY FAMILY DIED IN A BUS CRASH SEVEN YEARS AGO AND I COULDN'T GO BACK HOME!!!"

"I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS FAMILY NOW AND I WILL STAY WITH THEM FOR FIVE MORE YEARS!!!"I was crying so hard, and Frank scolded, "How dare you say that to her!"

"I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS FAMILY NOW AND I WILL STAY WITH THEM FOR FIVE MORE YEARS!!!"
I was crying so hard, and Frank scolded, "How dare you say that to her!"

At that moment, I called Jefferson-san a "jerk", making him even angrier. His hand went up as if he was about to slap me. Then, Frank grabbed his arm.
Susan got in front of me and shouted, "Stay away from Yukiko!"
Jefferson-san said, "Very well then... But keep her from watching those violent cartoons!"

I screamed so loud that I sounded like I was hurt.
Then, Jefferson-san turned to Rowley and said, "Come on Rowley. We're leaving!"
As their family began to leave, I yelled, "My night is ruined thanks to you, Jerk!" I guess Jefferson-san didn't care if I still called him a "jerk".

Still crying hard, I said, "I want to go home!"
Sympathetically, Greg said, "It's going to be okay, Yukiko..."

With the Heffleys, I went home and called it a night.

END OF THE STORY

Okay, so that is the story.

I am glad that this chapter is longer, and I hope you enjoyed the story!

If I remember correctly, I wanted to give the protagonist of this story a name that was similar to Yukino Agria from Fairy Tail and Yuuki Konno from Sword Art Online.

At the time I was writing this story, I was still watching Fairy Tail but I couldn't wait to start watching Sword Art Online when I finished, and that is what I did!

On my second account, I actually wrote a reboot for this story called "A Girl From Japan" and the protagonist's name was Sakurako. I deleted it over a year ago but now I am thinking of rewriting it once I get back to that account.

Don't forget to comment: What was your favorite part of the story?

Thank you so much for reading!

Goodbye

The next part will have the original writing of all ten chapters.
