There was a knock on the door and Greg answered it. A boy with orange hair in a bowl cut appeared and greeted him. Then, they went to Greg's bedroom and I followed them.
After seeing me, the boy asked, "Who is this?"
Greg replied, "This is Yukiko. She is who I was talking about on the phone. She only speaks Japanese."
Rowley looked back at me and said, "Nice to meet you, Yukiko. I'm Rowley Jefferson!"
I stayed silent because I didn't understand what he said.
"She can't understand English," said Greg to Rowley.
Rowley asked, "Is she a friend of yours? Where is she from?"
Greg replied, "She is from Japan and has no parents. I think my mom and dad are planning to foster her."
"What?" said Rowley who was surpirsed. "That's amazing, I wish I had a little sister too... How old is she?"
Greg loaded up his translator and asked, "Nansai desuka, Yukio?
"How old are you, Yukio?"
I replied, "Roku!"
Then, Greg turned to Rowley and said, "Yukiko is six-years-old."
