Dipper barely even realized I fell, it happened so fast.
One moment he was bounding across the forest floor chasing after his sister, next he's falling on his butt in some sort of cavern.
"Uhhhhnnnng" He groaned.
The impact from the landing knocked the wind out of him,
but he brushed himself off, and adjusted his hat.

As he started to sit up, he noticed a broken lantern that lay near him.
Dipper picked it up and holding the lantern in one hand, and backpack in the other he rummaged through the bottom feeling through the chewed up pens and pieces of paper until he found it- a matchbox!
Dipper set the lantern on the ground and pulled the matchbox out.
Striking the match he swung the lantern window open and let the wick of the burnt candle, shut the door- and caught his hat on fire.

Don't ask me how he managed to do that,
but with Dipper there's always some way for me to mess up.
"AHHHHHHH!!!!"
He screamed, because logically speaking here who wouldn't?
Luckily he had a water bottle in there and frantically yanking it out,
dumbed the whole thing on his hat.
The fire was gone but his hat was now dripping with water.

"What a day you're having here Dipper,"
He said to himself.
He stood up while carrying the lantern in his hand and took in his surroundings.
There was cave painting that seemed to be drawn by
some Indian tribe a millennium ago.
"Looks like the one Uncle Ford described," he mumbled to himself.
"I better show-"

"DIPPER!!"
His sister tackled him in a happy embrace, but it didn't turn out so happy when they both did a triple summersault into the wall.
"Mabel, you're acting like we haven't seen each other in a year.
I only fell in a couple minutes ago!"

"Well, I got kinda worried but I knew you'd be alright!
So I gave it a couple minutes, and I decided that was long enough!"
Mabel now noticed the painting and was looking at it in a very skeptical way.
"Hey......is that.. Bill? Wait, hold on, it looks like-"
"The painting Uncle Ford found when he first came to Gravity Falls."
Dipper finished.
"Woah"
Mabel breathed breathed out in awe.
"But wait, there's a covered up part....."
Mabel said as she cautiously pulled back a piece of old tarp
that seemed to blend in with the painting.
"Mabel, what are you talking about?"
Dipper grew dead quiet as Mabel peeled back the rest of the ratty tatty tarp and stepped back. There was a drawing of the petrified Bill statue and writing scrawled underneath. "I evoke the power that I may return."
