High School Drama

#1 senior year

Cindy's POV:

I woke up with butterflies in my stomach from all the excitement on my mind. Today was the first day of my senior year, and I have been waiting for this moment my whole life. I already knew this school year was going to be great (I say that every year but this year I really mean it).

I got out of bed and ran to my bathroom where I had my clothes laying out, a black, white, and blue flannel, black skinny jeans and blue converse( im not girly but I know how to dress myself). I got into the shower and washed my hair once I got out I wrapped a towel around myself and started to blow dry my hair when I heard my phone ring. I looked at the caller ID and it was my best friend Rachel, A.K.A ray, I answered the phone.

"Jello" I answer with an amusing tone. "Jello? Are you hungry...... OMG ARE YOU HIGH?! DO YOU HAVE THE MUNCHIES?!" she yells into the phone causing me to flinch and pull the phone away from my ear.

"No I'm not high" I chuckle "good that was a close one" she sighs into the phone and I start to laugh.

"What do you want weirdo" I say as I try to catch my breath. "Oh yeah I wanted to tell you I'm picking you up in about an hour".

"OK and please don't wear that weird fake tattoo you showed me yesterday". "Awww you're no fun" she wines into the phone and with that we end the call.

I went back into the bathroom and continued to blow dry my hair, once I was done I put my hair into a ponytail and brushed my teeth. When I was done I put my clothes and shoes on , grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs to wait for ray.

Once I got downstairs I noticed my mom was still asleep in her room. (I'm an only child and my dad walked out on us when I was 2). I grabbed a banana, sat on the couch and turned on the TV spongebob was on.

I was watching TV occasionally laughing at the corny jokes when I heard a knock on the door. I turned off the TV and grabbed my back pack knowing immediately who was at the door. I opened the door and saw ray standing looking out the opposite way.

I cleared my throat and she jumped not realizing I had opened the door. "Oh hey since when did you guys get a bush?" She asked. I shook my head and answered sarcastically "we just got it this morning". She nodded then paused realizing my sarcasm. "Jerk" she commented and I put my hands up in defeat.

"Let's go sting ray" I said as I walked out of the house, closed the door, and locked it.

Once we got into the car ray looked at me with a creepy smile on her face. "What?" I asked getting wierded out. "WE'RE SENIORS!" she screams the pulls out of my drive way and speeds towards the school.
