{ Alex's POV }

I woke with a soft grunt.

A body was pressed against mine and for a second I was afraid it was Miles.

I looked down at the girl and scrunched up my nose in distaste.

My mind went back to last night. What happened?

All I remember is shots. Lots and lots of vodka shots.

I sat up as my head swam and pain flowed through my body. I tugged on some sweats and made my way to the kitchen grabbing a bottle of water and two Advils.

I took the pills and looked around at the dimly lit room.

Now that my senses were coming back to me, what should I do about getting rid of that bird?

After taking the two pills I decided to pull out the bottle of Bourbon from the cabinet, pooring the proper amount in the fancy hand held glass.

I downed it and felt the pain in my head start to go away...

Miles says that I shouldn't drink to fix my hangovers...

I shake my head away from him and I decide that I need this bird out of my apartment sooner rather than later, though I would like nothing more than to curl up into a ball and drink until she leaves.

I think I should wake her up.

I made my way up to my room, tugging the covers off the half naked girl wearing my shirt.

I scowled a bit as she whined and sat up.

"What tha hell was that for you ass?" she said sending a pout in my direction.

I rolled my eyes at her antics.

"Change and leave. I have guests coming over," I lied through my teeth.

I didn't want to be completely rude to this girl and I'm not being totally untrue. Miles is supposed to come over soon to talk about the new album, that is if he's even up yet.

She stared up at me, and she seemed to be scanning my face.

I silently begged for her not to look at my hands, which were fidgeting from nerves.

I looked into her eyes, keeping my cool. Suddenly , as I stared, I noticed that her brown eyes resembled Miles' and I felt an odd feeling come over me.

I couldn't tell if it was good or bad.

"They'll be over soon, so please." I motioned to her clothing on the floor, then dropped my hand back to my side.

"Alright. I'll Get out then, ya' git." She commented, leaning forward and grabbing her clothing.

She took off my shirt, tossing it on the bed.

As she stood naked I felt a tad sick. I wasn't attracted to her, why was she here?

When she finally got dressed, I held the door open, watching her leave.

I let out a sigh of relief when she was finally at the door.

I slammed it shut allowing the wood to collide against the door frame with a harsh bang.

Now to call Miles.

My hands shook as I grabbed my phone from my pocket. The time read 10:45am. Maybe a few more shots before I call will do me good.

I grabbed the Bourbon again and poured it into my glass, downing the dark amber liquid.

Maybe I shouldn't call Miles at all.
