i think a good place to start with these things is defining non binary
basically it's just not being a boy or a girl, non binary is an umbrella term so you can identify as a variety of things within that term
for me i identify as just non binary i mean if we wanna get more down to it i would probably be like demi gender because i was DFAB which an important term that will come up again probably it means designated female at birth, so basically i was born with a vagina. there is something about my gender that is definitely more feminine than masculine but i don't feel exclusively feminine.
the next important thing to address is pronouns, gender nonconforming individuals can use a variety of pronouns i myself use they/them pronouns just cause i want to, so like if you're referring to me use those.
names are also an important thing because idk if you've noticed but they are v gendered, my birth name is both feminine and a gross colour (i have a synesthesia) so you know i'm not the fondest of it, i do go by my nickname in public and with my friends but online i do use more gender neutral names, the gift of the internet is that i can try out names and shit atm i'm going by Spencer, it may change in the future it may not we'll see how it goes.
i think those are all the introductory things out of the way for now, plz ask any questions you have about either my gender or just gender in general and i'll do my best to answer it
