[11] Freedom Has A Cause

So this chapter is basically a rant. Sort of. I have been seeing hate comments (eg. ugly, bitch and even 'go kill yourself') being posted towards someone on Instagram and a couple of people and I had been trying to stop those bullies. However, we ended up being told to 'fuck off' and to shut up. This is what's happening with our society today. They know what is right and wrong but because of their ego, they refuse to change and chose to become the most awful human being in the world. 

Everybody wants to be free,

Free to feel what they want to feel,

Free to think what they want to think,

Free to say what they want to say,

And free to do what they want to do.

However,

Every good things comes with a cost,

But our greed and selfishness are overpowering,

And we are blinded by the sight of complete freedom,

Neglecting what was right.

With freedom comes a prison,

A prison where we locked ourselves into,

And where we watched the consequences of our actions,

Yet we felt no mercy,

No sympathy,

Just greed and the lust to feel free.

We spread hate with the excuse of our freedom,

Ignoring the rain that comes after a sunny day,

Covering our ears when the thunder comes,

And closing our eyes when the sky turned grey. 

We know about the storm,

But we chose to neglect it,

Let it past,

And move on,

As if nothing ever happened.
