Inuyasha fanfic: A Travel Through Time

Ch 1

(The start is going to be kind of slow but it'll get better! My writing skills aren't the best so please don't judge to harshly vuv thanks.)

My name is Myra Kami, I live in an old run down shrine on the outskirts of town. My backyard is the forest and it is were I do most of my training. I have trained in the art of being a priestess most of my life like my ancestors before me, though training is rough and vigorous and it interferes with my studies it is a big part of who I am. I am handy with a spear, not so much with a bow and arrow quiet yet but I'm improving.

Today I am given a gift. A spear passed down through the Kami family dating back hundreds of years. The spear is made from the wood of a demon tree and the sharp edge is made from a demon's fang. It is a powerful spear said to increase the users spiritual powers.

I walk into the shed that holds the spear and open the old creaky doors, I slowly step inside and reach for the spear, I take a close look at it. It doesn't seem to powerful but it has a strange feel to it. I go to leave the shed when suddenly I hear a crack. The floor gives way and I fall into a pool of swirling purple and pink energy (Much like when Kagome jumps into the well) And I have a feeling of falling and it goes dark for a moment.

When I come too I am laying in the forest, the shrine is gone and its just trees for what seems like miles. "Where am I?" I wonder looking around. The air is crisp and cool and luckily she was wearing her miko outfit. She slowly starts heading into the forest, thick trees making it hard to move about. After a while of walking she sees a village. "This is nothing like downtown Tokyo." She cautiously heads deeper into the village and is lead to Kaede's Hut. She is met by the kind old woman and she tells her what happened. "Aye child your situation is much like Kagome's" the old woman says softly. "Kagome? I don't know of her" she says quietly "But if she's in the same situation I'm in maybe she can help me." Myra stands and bows to the woman after asking where she'd be able to find Kagome. Suddenly a flash of red enters the hut followed by three others. "Well I guess you don't have to look very far my dear girl" Kaede looks up at Myra. Myra stands there, A bit shocked by the flash of red, she stumbles and falls back. A man in red robes looks down at her and raises his brow.... "Who are you?"
