DAYS AFTER THAT NIGHT, I started going back to school. There's a lot of catching up to do but I'd be lying if I say na 'yon ang binalik ko. Of course. It's because of her. 

Noong nalaman ko'ng naghiwalay sila. I'd be lying again if I say that I'm not happy. Masaya ako and at the same time, something's telling me not to expect too much. But then he told me that maybe, just maybe, she really loves me. He told me he saw that. Gagong 'yon. Mapapatay ko siya kung wala kasi umaasa na ako. 

Yung parang may nakalagay sa 10 commandments ng pag-ibig na.. "Thou shall not expect."

At simula naman ng pumasok ako, hindi na pumasok si Prim. That's what they told me. It was five days from now to be exact. And I am on my chair, writing nothing. 

I smiled with the thought that she loves me too. Na pinagiisapan niyang mabuti. Na naga-adjust siya. At magsisinungaling ulit ako kapag sinabi ko'ng hindi ko iniisip na she was preparing something for me. Something for us. Oo, masyado na akong naga-assume. Eh nasaktan narin naman ako eh, edi sagarin na natin. 

"Bro," 

I turned to Aki. Minsan hindi ko siya ma-gets. Ang daming tawag sakin. Brad, Tol, Bro, Pare, Dude. Kulang nalang Papi. 

"What?"

"I have an update." 

"Don't care,"

"It's about Prim." 

"What about her?"

"News flash, Miro and Vivian are dating."

"Thanks for wasting 3 seconds of my life."

Natawa siya at umupo sa tabi ko. "If it concerns her, It is without doubt, that you're not wasting your time--when you actually are."

"Giving her my time is the best I could do." 

"Whatever. So, have you seen the results?"

"Of what?"

"Dean's list." Oh, bakit ko naman 'yon aalamin. Unquestionably, I won't be there. "Don't care."

"Nakapasok si Prim." 

"Really?" That's good. Good for her. "Pumasok na ba siya?" Tanong ko sakanya. Maybe may alam siya. Umiling siya. "Nope, Vivian told me na ayaw din daw ni Prim magpapunta sa bahay nila."

I wonder why. "Bakit kaya.."
