Joe

A year passed by in the blink of an eye. Joe and Evelyn lived together . They we working on fulfilling their dreams . And of course as happy as ever. But Joe started getting a bit home sick . He missed his old home, his family members and his dear friend Steph. That started hunting his dreams in an odd way. But he didn't seem to care. Evelyn got all she ever wanted so she didn't missed anything at all. Although Joe's behaviour worried her , it was changing little by little. He acted a bit distant towards her , he wasn't as loving as usual and sometimes he would stare at nothing for hours without even saying a word. She decided to talk with him but he denied being depressed , angry or anxious. Joe just asked her to be patient " This has been an enormous change for me and I still don't get used to it at all." She trusted him and decided that she'll be the most loving one so that Joe could feel better and moe comfortable.

Back on the island Steph moved in with Leila as they both kept on with their studies. Plus Steph was helping her out with the process of getting over Joe. Something that seemed extremely difficult but yet possible. Time was going to be her best tool. From time to time Steph and Leila called Evelyn so they could know if everything was going just fine . Although that had two effects on Leila . Yes it calmed her to know he is ok but it drove her crazy jealous to know how well the relationship was going. Leila envied Evelyns luck . But it was too late now. Leila's sentimental situation got to the point when it was exactly like Joe's some time ago. Horrible nightmares and strage yet beautiful daydreams. She didn't wanted to tell Steph because she didn't wanted to bother her even more.

It was May 14 so she decided to call Joe and remember the old times. His phone rang but he didn't picked it up instead Evelyn did and it didn't got pretty. " Hey Joe I was wondering if we could talk for an moment I'm getting really nostalgic due to today and I wanted to remember the days we spent together" Leila spoke nervously . The all of a sudden Evelyn chuckled and went outside " Who do you think you are? Calling my boyfriend to talk about that shit you two had?". Leila stood silent and took a deep breath "Evelyn please stop praising yourself for stealing him from me.... You! Yes you are the one responsible that he dumped me .... You're a pretty good liar I'll give you that but he won't stop being mine ". Evelyn felt an rush of hatred running through her veins and simply smashed Joe's phone . The noise the impact made woke Joe up and rushed to check up on Evelyn.

He saw the phone broken on the floor and took a really deep breath. " Evelyn would you mind explaining this?" Trying not to get angry he turned to face Ev and ignored the phone." Why is she calling you? " She stared at his eyes full of anger. " Are you fucking cheating on me?". Joe laughed loud and hard " No darling I wouldn't dare to cheat on you . It's more go check my phone.... ooh wait you smashed it." Her breathing intensifies " Leila called you....". Joe froze in doubt and curiosity " She did? We dont even talk anymore. ..". Evelyn turned around and acted all uninterested " you know what? Forget about it. ... I'm going out but don't wait for me ..." She quickly left leaving Joe all alone and full of doubts.
