Geek or Nerd??

Step Two

Step two was apparently beautification.

She brought me to the salon and got me blonde highlights and a haircut that went to my shoulders. It was parted to the right and it looked really good. Then we went to get manicures and pedicures. I had my nails done midnight blue, and Alex had hers done a blood red. It went well with her waist length blonde hair and green eyes.

On the way home, Alex said to me, "Now you only have to go on morning runs and the same eating schedule along with the intake of water a day. You can stop going to the gym daily and go once or twice a week or something like that."
I smiled happily while taking in the entire car and my friend. She had grown taller and had a willowy figure. The car was my moms and it was a white hybrid.

When we dropped the car off and went to her cottage, she asked me, "How do you feel about yourself now??"

"Honestly I feel great. I feel so much better than I did in middle school," I told her truthfully.

"Now all the boys won't be able to stop looking at you," she teases me playfully.
I blush while swatting her arm.
She just starts laughing and doesn't stop.
Pretty soon we're both on the ground rolling around with laughter.

As soon as we stop, she says, "Congrats you finally have a better you!!"

And with a smile on my face, I agree.
