As I slowly lay back down on my bed again, I felt a rush of air and something holding me down to my mattress tightly. I gasped a scream as I could feel breathing only a few inches away from my face, and something that was restricting my movement at my arms and thighs.
"Here I am," the voice sang, "you are so fun to play with, Jessica."
I could feel the woman's hair fall on my face, and I saw the two most brightest eyes apart from Kyle's staring down at me.
The only problem was...they were glimmering a hint of red.
Not a good sign.
I felt the woman climb off of me and flick on the bedroom light, causing me to reflectively curl up my body parts as close to my chest as I could, feeling the stranger's presence still in the room.
What on earth is going on?
As the light came on, I saw a girl standing at the bottom of my bed, a sly smirk playing on her lips. I reflectively jumped in my bed and slowly sat upright against my headboard.
Who was this person? And why was she in my room? How did she know my name? Or Kyle's for that matter? I was about to scream for help, but she slowly put an index finger to her lips and shook her head.
I didn't want to find out what she would do if I didn't obey.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," she whispered.
"Who are you?" I demanded, "and what are you doing in my room?"
She rolled her eyes and began twirling a piece of her dark hair in her slender fingers. "Well, do you remember a little someone called Marcus?"
I froze. Marcus? Where was he? What did he have to do with this?
"I'll take your sudden fear as a yes," she replied with a sarcastic tone.
I started to breathe slowly in and out. Was it normal that she could sense my fear? Or was it just because anyone could probably figure out I was scared right now?
"You may have heard about my Mother before, Medusa. Every time you look in her eyes you turn to stone? Well, I'm her daughter. Melissa to be exact."
I quickly took my eyes away from the girl, just incase I turned to stone too. She laughed at me.
"You are so stupid. I didn't inherit that power unfortunately," she winked. "But you see...Marcus is my boyfriend. Yes, you hear right. Boyfriend."
Marcus had a girlfriend? And it was this girl standing here? Actually, in the better light she looked about my age. She wore a floaty black skirt with the length just above her knees, a pair of stiletto boots and a leather jacket that clung to her slim figure and curves. Her dark brunette hair cascaded down to her shoulders, and she wore a small, black jewelled hair clip just above her left temple. She was wearing a lot of black clothing, and I wasn't sure if that was just for sneaking into my house unseen, or if she wore that normally.
I had a feeling it was normal for her.
"And you, Miss Jessica, caused a whole lot of problems for him and I," she smiled without happiness, "he's been in heaven for the past two months keeping a constant eye on everything. He has to keep teleporting and hiding every time someone comes after him, and it's all your fault."
"How?" I asked quietly, "he would have received those deserved punishments anyway..."
"No, he wouldn't have," she snapped. "I don't think you are getting this right. He hadn't done anything to get in trouble. Well, apart from the fact that he killed Kyle and then tried to kidnap you, but that's what he would have got in trouble for. Nothing else."
