Chapter 6

This chapter is going to be written as a story with snapchat messages in as well, i decided to try something and if it doesn't work i'll go back to just Dylan and Cassandra communicating via snapchat, so enjoy :)

I woke up groggily, stretching out my arms and legs, whilst rubbing the sleep from my eyes. The sun shone into my eyes and lighted up my room in a white blaze, causing me to squint in order to see my phone screen to check the time.

8:45 am it read. My eyes widened in realization as i saw a snapchat notification.

I let out a short laugh at the picture and mentally groaned at his nickname.

Nobody called me Cass. It was strictly Cassandra.

And yes I did set his name to 'dyl🦄'...

I hastily sent a reply back.

I locked my phone and put it back on my nightstand before climbing out of bed and padding across my hotel room towards the bathroom.

I had a relaxing shower filled with raspberry scented conditioner and thoughts of my show tonight.. And admittedly meeting Dylan.

I began to worry about actually meeting him for the first time, would it be awkward? I mean it's not over snapchat obviously but I feel really close to him.. What if he decides he doesn't like me? Or worst decides he doesn't want to talk to me anymore?

Oh my gosh, what if he hates my show?!

I snapped out of my anxious thoughts and stepped out of the steamy shower.

Shut up Cassandra, it's only dyl.

Exactly. It's Dylan!

Stop it. Let's just see where the day takes me.

I ended my internal battle as I stepped out of my bathroom, a fluffy white towel wrapped firmly around me.

I changed into some lazy, casual clothes and dried my hair before throwing it up into a messy bun so that it would be out of my face.

I can't handle hair in my face.

Then I sat in front of the gorgeous mirror at the desk in this lovely hotel room, and applied my makeup for the day.

I might not care to much about my hair, but I saw makeup as an art form I desperately tried to perfect.

After feeling satisfied with my makeup look; bronzed glowy skin, a peach eye look with winged eyeliner (of course) and mauve lips. My eyebrows were on fleek as per usual, not to brag or anything..

I got up and headed over to my phone, feeling a small smile spread on my face as I saw a snapchat notification from- guess who?

30 minutes go

Immediately after my phone buzzed again but this time it was a message instead of a picture.

Dyl🦄: where's a good place to eat around here?

Cassandraa: depends, you want unhealthy junk or fancy smancy crap? 😏

Dyl🦄: do you really need to ask me that question babe?

I blushed at the nickname.

Cassandraa: unhealthy junk it is. Taco Bell?

Dyl🦄: sounds good. I'll see you then, bye cass😘

Cassandraa: ITS CASSANDRA

Cassandraa: but yeah see you then dyl😘

I sighed contently. I locked my phone and heard that satisfying locking sound before quickly unlocking it again and sending one more quick snapchat.

I know, I'm pathetic.

I hit send and sank back into my bed, knowing he would reply soon.

As expected, my phone flashed up with a snapchat notification.

I laughed to myself (I know I'm weird) and slipped on my converse before heading out the door.

Rehearsals, here I come.

Sorry this is a bit of a filler but I wanted to give you guys an update

Dyl and Cassandra finally meet next chapter though! Yesss

Anyway, this was a nightmare to write seeing as I keep running out of storage on my phone as I'm a photo hoarder so it wouldn't let me update this chapter every time I wrote something but ugh I fixed it in the end.

Let me know how you feel about these kind of chapters where the story is written out more than the regular snapchat style. I quite like this but it's up to you guys 💚

I'll try to update as soon as I can (I finished my chunk of exams, up until next month at least arg)
