Goodbye

At first you became my friend but near enemies at the very end

I found it hard from the start and at the end I couldn't depart

You used to make me stop and stare but now it seems you leave me bare

It's done we'll go our own ways now to lead our lives only we know how

So good luck to you in your new life although technically you're still my wife

In time you'll have another man and I'll have to cope as best as I can

With jealousy and other things all pulling hard on my heartstrings

But I'll try my best to forget you and maybe I'll find someone too

So to the future we must look to start a new chapter in the book

So I want to wish you all the best and pray  that with a good life you are blessed
