A bright light loomed over the pacific ocean, moments before a wave of fiery clouds covered the water and incinerated countless sea creatures. The energy rushed forward, shaking the Earth for the briefest of moments before a towering mushroom ploom shot in to the sky, blotting out all sun from the now dark and murky waters.
A silence fell over the razed water.
Then a siren rose in the smoke, a primal drone that caused the surface of the ocean to bubble with an intense heat.
And then white, glazed eyes broke the surface as a towering line mass of a living mountain freed itself from the smoke, standing as tall as the dissipating mushroom cloud once was. Another horrid roar of pain broke through the dead, thick air before a blue light filled the creatures horrible maw.
A burst of blinding whitish-blue light spewed hundreds of feet in to the air from its mouth before the beam vanished and the monster slumped forward, staring toward a mass of land with unstoppable, unforgiving hatred.
