I am Caitlyn Winstain.
My life has been full of creepy stalkers, a group of shadow-dogs, tattooed freaks, a missing brother, a very annoying servant and one heck of a life.
Nothing in life is always how you imagine it to be. Friends could be strange...
"Oh my God, it looks so cute." I said to a woman passing by. The lady had a dog with her: a long brown dog, a dachshund maybe. The dog was so happy with my compliment that it started circling around my feet. I crouched down and petted it head which, he rewarded with a few licks.
The woman smiled at me. She was wearing a blue t-shirt with a tribal logo, a pair of faded jeans and white sneakers. Her hair was done in a ponytail and judging from her looks, she maybe in her mid twenties and was probably walking her dog until I came up. She waved me goodbye and resumed walking down the streets, her dog beside her.
I sighed and continued walking while I felt the cool breeze whip my face. The weather was really cloudy and people were busy in the streets.
It's been a long time since I've been out of the house. After pestering Sam from morning till night the whole week, and a few blackmailing, he finally gave in and let me out of our apartment.
Sam is my guardian and protector so, when I told him he could not go with me, he was so pissed off that he forbade me from going out the house. Lucky for me, he totally forgot that rooms and doors could not keep me in.
So here I am, escaping the suffocating atmosphere of my own home.
Times up, I guess. I should go home while Sam has not noticed my little escapade
I walked on my way home. One because riding in a public area is too dangerous and two, it is cheaper than paying a bus ride home.
While I was on my way minding my own business, my stomach growled. Lucky for me, just across the street where my stomach suddenly made a little fit, was a bakery. It had a brick walls and even though it was across the street, I could smell the bread just fresh out from the oven, even the cinnamon was tempting. Oh my God, I'm hungry and it's just the smell.
I must have been standing there way too long because when I looked to my right, an elderly couple were staring at me weirdly. I smiled at them and they gave me a weary smile back.
"Sam won't be mind if I had a few bites right? I mean-how bad could it be? I'm starving here so maybe I deserve a short break," I said to myself and eyed the store again, "and maybe a few donuts as well." Great, now, I'm talking to myself. I must really be hungry.
I crossed the streets and looked at the bakery again. Nothing suspicious here, there weren't that many people inside the bakery. I think it's safe.
I went to the counter and looked at the food on display. The cashier's back was facing me so that I could not see the persons face. When the cashier did turn, I was shocked to see a cookie monster I mean, her hair kinda looked like cookie monster.

She had massive, blue, curly hair that was so frizzy that it looked like a giant blue ball.
"Can I help you, miss?" the cookie monster-look-a-like said to me. She had tan skin and was dressed in a white apron for her job.
