Caged Up

A/n: I'm sooo sorry for publishing late! School's almost over for me, so the teachers gave me a lot of tests and projects the whole month. But, here's the next chapter

Dipper's POV

"Wait, so what are you saying?" I cried

"I DONT KNOW!" The other (Y/n) shouted, running her fingers through her hair.

"SO THEN SHUT UP!"

"WHY SHOULD I?!!"

???'s POV

Ugg, I can hear their screaming from the other side of my castle. It is killing me, well, not literally, but you know what I mean. The good news is, they'll tear each other apart before I even have to do anything!

The timer rings, indicating that they were ready. I squealed, as I was one step closer to my plan.

Dipper's POV

"SO I CAN THINK!"

"OH, ITS A WONDER YOU CAN THINK AT ALL!!" (Y/n) shouted

She turned around, slid down on the opposite wall (far away from the me), and faced the wall so her back was turned away from me.

I sighed, then placed my fingers on my forehead.

Mabel's POV

Meanwhile, in the purple cage...

"I'm right here Mabel." Dipper said

"Dipper!" I hugged my brother

"Woah! This is some weird mirror!" I turned around and saw another Mabel

"What the--?!" I noticed that there were two Tads as well. (Y/n) looked at the doubles confused

"M-mabel... you're kinda... squishing me...!"

"Oh! Sorry!" I chuckled and let go of Dipper

"Neither of our powers work." Both of the Tads stated in unison

"Aren't you guys weirded out with there being two of you?" (Y/n) asked. The two Tads looked at each other and shrugged

"(Y/n), why don't you try using your powers to teleport us out of here?" Dipper asked (Y/n)

"Powers?!" one Tad, (Y/n), and I exclaimed

"I don't have powers..." (Y/n) said

"What? Yeah you do..." the Tad that wasn't shocked replied

"Wait, wait, maybe I can find something in the journal that could solve this problem." Dipper said as he flipped through the pages

Dipper's POV

Back to Dipper and (Y/n).

"Look, we have to get out of here." I said

"Thanks captain obvious." She rolled her eyes sarcastically, still refusing to make eye contact

"There has to be something in the journal that can explain what is going on." I muttered under my breath.

That was enough to get '(Y/n)' interested in what I was doing. She turned around, crawled towards me, and looked over my shoulder at the words on the journal.

I searched through the book looking for something that could help. I found something, and quickly sat up

"AHA! I think I found something!" I said excitedly

(Y/n) sat up and read the page aloud.

"I have reason to believe that there could be other dimensions out there, or alternate universes. There could be hundreds or even thousands of alternate universes, with all the same people, but with different lives and personalities." I explained to her

"So you think we are from...alternate universes?" She asked me skeptically

"I mean, it makes sense about why we don't know each other, and it's also not the weirdest thing we have come across." I shrugged

Mabel's POV

At the purple cage (again)...

"Ooo... I get it now! Not really." I shouted

"Basically, That Tad, that Mabel, and I are from a different dimension. You, the other Tad, and (Y/n) are from another dimension." 'Dipper' explained to me

"Ok, ok. I think I get it?" I said

"So, how are we gonna get out of here?" (Y/n) asked

Dipper's POV

"Riiiight. So now what?" (Y/n) asked

"What what?"

"Why does Nightshade want us, all of us, and, why does she want Ford?" (Y/n) asked me

"Let me check in the journal!" I said, as I flipped the pages.

"The journal doesn't have all the answers Dipper." she said

"Oh yeah? Then read and weap!" I shoved the Journal in her face proudly

"Gnomes?" she asked reading the page

"Oops, hehe, wronge page!" I snatched the book away, flipped pages, and placed the book in (Y/n)'s  hands again.

"I have now been turned away, the demons have betrayed me. They want my knowledge to destroy the universe, I cannot let the journals fall into the wrong hands." she read out loud

Instead of being written neatly, like Ford's other entries, this one was written as if he was in a hurry.

"So Nightshade is torturing the Fords for KNOWLEDGE!" (Y/n) said

"But what knowledge?" Dipper asks

"Whatever kind it is, I'm sure it's bad!" she said

 I watched (Y/n) pace around the room and mess with her hair.

*ping*

(Y/n) looked on the floor to see what made the sound. I saw her face light up, as she grabbed whatever she saw on the floor

"We have to escape!" I reminded her

(Y/n) rushed to the door, and stuck her arm out of the cage. She held onto the lock and shook it. Then, I heard the click of the lock. She took out something that seemed to be a pin, pulled the handle, and opened the door.

"Wha-"I started

She covered my mouth before I could say anything, grabbed my arm, and ran out.

We ran down the hallway, into a big throne room.

"Hey!" A voice next to us shouted.

One of Nightshades minion guys spotted us, and charged after us. (Y/n) stood her ground. She looked like she was concentrating. Next thing I knew it, we were teleported away.

*Fwwwwwwip!*

A/n: Cliffhanger! Once again, I apologize for the delay. I'll be out of school in five days, then I will be able to completely focus on finishing this story. I just realized my one year anniversary on Wattpad was on May 22nd! I can't belive I've been on Wattpad for a whole year. This book's one year anniversary is on June 19. I might do something for it, but I don't know. Blargh. Ok. I'm off to finish studying. Wish me luck  T_T ~Mystic
