"WHAT?! I thought you knew it!"

"I- I do! Just hold on!"

"3... 2... 1...."

Now:

Dipper's POV

...ALL DATA ERASED."

"......Oops."

"Argh, I knew I shouldn't have trusted you! Did you even know the password?!"

"Yes! But don't blame me, I just forgot it due to pressure! Plus, it's your fault for waiting until it was about to erase all the data to give it to me!" he countered

"How was I supposed to know it would do THAT?"

"But you know, it was probably better for you not to know what was in the laptop."

"What? Why?"

"If you read what was in there... "

"...You probably wouldn't let me stay here anymore!" he laughed

(Y/n)'s POV

Bill and I heard Dipper shouting upstairs, so we walked there to see what was happening.

"Is everything alright...?" I asked as I stuck my head into the room

"No! Tad just erased all the data that was on the laptop!" Dipper pointed to Tad

"You did?" I asked Tad in shock

"See? I told you he couldn't be trusted!" Bill told me

He didn't seem like a bad guy...

"....Yeah. But it wasn't my fault! Pine Tree didn't give me the computer until it was about to erase all the data! And I really DID forget the password. "

"Oh really? You forgot the password?" Dipper asked

What do I say? Should I trust him?

"Doll, if you don't trust me, I'll respect your decision, and leave. I've been untrusted by Bill for a long time, so i'm used to it anyways..." He looked down sadly

"...."

"You really shouldn't trust him, (y/n)." Bill told me

"For once, I agree with Bill." Dipper added

I thought back on the talk we had in the woods the other day (Getting Closer...)

"...I'm choosing to trust you Tad." I told him seriously

"Thank you!" Tad brightened up and hugged me

"Uhh... You're welcome..."

"Tad. Hands off." Bill told him, looking annoyed

Tad let go from the hug and looked at Bill

*cough* *cough* "Jealous much? B)" *cough* *cough*

"What was that?" Bill glared

"She's the first person to trust me, how can I not be happy? Plus, since she trusts me, that means that I can still stay!" Tad grinned

--that night--

Mabel's performance went well, but it wasn't satisfying enough to Gabe. Mabel ended up losing to Gabe's puppets. We all awkwardly looked at him walk out of the theatre kissing his puppets.

"Hey Mabel... Sorry about not helping you today. I could have helped you..." Dipper told her

"It's okay, it made me think. I spent this whole week wasting my time on some crush, when I should have been helping you crack the code like I promised."

"DAWW..." I said out loud

They both looked at me

"Ohmigosh. Sorry. I just ruined the moment. I'll go now." I backed away
