Dear Lord,
Help us to face our fears and overcome them. Help us to be free from all anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness. May we be humble enough to lay at Your feet, all the things we think we are entitled and should have, and may we be brave enough to say, "Lord, I want only what You want for me, because I know You want only the best for me." Help us to find rest and peace in Your decisions. You don't cause the bad things in our lives, but You are sovereign and anything that has touched our lives, You have allowed, and You will use the pain, difficulty, struggle, and heartache to refine us as the purest gold. Purge us of all the thoughts, ideas, and concerns that are not of You. We are in this world, but not of it. Help us to be free from the things that hinder our walk with you.
