clarity be the consistency in me,
precision, submit this soul in ways true,
that I savour justice minus prejudice,
steadfastly love, awakened to ponder ever mercifully-
embrace the present as though the future were not.
to sit in awe of the things to come, gracefully age.
with wrinkled pasts cringing at the brightness of days,
yet shying not from dreadful stares, when the old has become.
