"Let's not forget the countless number of assholes I've gone through in the past years Laura, I'm sure I can handle it honestly."

"Well if you say so, I'll send you the details later."

"I wonder where I'd be without you"

I noticed her smile falter a bit, I knew she still blamed herself for everything that had happened and I hated that. Sure she was able to convince to leave the house that night but I couldn't pin it on her, it was still my actions and I had to be responsible for it.

"Mommy look what I did!"

I looked away from Laura as I heard my little baby run into the kitchen, his clothes were covered with the poster color he had begged me to get for him the other day. I couldn't help the smile that formed on my face as he circled round me excitedly with a piece of white cardboard in his hand

"What you got there buddy?" I laughed as I picked him up, not minding the paint.

"I'm an artist!" He chimed.

I laughed as I took a look at his work, trying to figure out what exactly he had envisioned it to be, up to me it looked more of  a bunch of colorful dots linked together.

"I see that baby.." I laughed. "..so what is it?"

"Ugh Mom! It's a train..look those are the tiny people waiting, there's the train, the lights and this is the track" He explained

"Oh.."

"Aunty Laura gets it, right Aunty?"

"Uhm yeah definitely, I see what you did there" She laughed in response.

"See?" He smiles and tapped my nose playfully with his messy finger.

"Okay you need a shower" I said.

"Noooo"he groaned.

"Come on baby, what do I always say?"

He grumbled in reply and ran upstairs after I set him down.

"Great kid" Lara laughed and I joined in shortly after.

"I don't understand why I have to be the one to do this, it's your company"

"Liam sooner or later it will become your company, when will you learn to stop being so lazy? You have a lot to carry on your shoulders"

"Yes! Because you are throwing them at me."

I watched my father pace around the room in annoyance. He had decided to stop by to remind me how much of a lazy dim witted son I was, honestly i don't know why he couldn't just text.

"Look I will be early for the interviews tomorrow alright and In order to do that, I need to get some rest, so if you could kindly leave father" I smiled sarcastically.

"My company pays for everything here, therefore I leave when I want" he said.

"Feel free to help yourself to a cup of coffee" I rolled my eyes as I picked up my laptop and walked up the stairs.

I am getting sick and tired of these countless visits, it was enough that I saw him throughout the day at work, I didn't need him clogging down my throat at night as well.

Few minutes later, I heard my front door open and close, I looked out my window as I watched the old man walk towards his car to leave.

"Finally" i sighed, i had been craving sleep since I woke up in the morning.
