When I first saw her she was smiling. It was raining outside, so I was confused on how she could be so happy on a rainy day. When the class started, this group of girls started to pick on her. They were calling her rude names, but she continued to smile. It was odd, because normally people would snap back and fight them. But all she did was smile. When the class was over I went to go talk with her. I asked her if i could talk with her for a minute, when she turned she was smiling. I asked her if she is alright, and she responded saying "I am not going to let people get to me, i am not going to let anyone or anything get to me. i am going to smile and walk away from the problem. "I was shocked with what she had said. I asked her why she didn't fight back, she turned to look at me again "I don't have time for stupid people." She turned and walked away.
