"I'll be right back, I need to get a fork and spoon." I excused and got up from my seat. I went up to the line where someone was paying for their food. Since I couldn't reach for the fork or spoon, I asked.

"Hey, can you hand me a fork and spoon please?" They grabbed both and turned to me, holding out the silverware. I stared at the person as if I had just seen a ghost.

It was Yvonnie.

She looked up at me and her eyes went wide.

"Oh my god..." She gasped and took a step closer to me but I took a step back. My facial expression quickly went from shock to anger. I didn't want to see her.

She rubbed the back of her neck and huffed. "Long time no see huh?"

"Yep." I answered.

"Um, how are you?"

"Fine." I continued to give her one word responses. She looked at me and pressed her lips together.

"Odell...I know I just stopped speaking to you out of the blue, but I can explain why!" She said, but before she could say anything else, I cut her off.

"You know what, save your bullshit sob story for someone else, not me." I snapped harshly. She just stared at me with shiny/glossy eyes.

Iyana came in between us, becoming aware of our intense encounter. "I was wondering what's taking you so long Dell." She glanced at Yvonnie then back at me. "Is there something wrong?"

"Nah, everything's fine ma." I took Iyana's hand and started to walk away with her.

"Babe, who is she? She looked like she was about to cry." Iyana snapped her neck back to see her.

"She's nobody." I replied and sighed.

I felt my heart break as Odell walked away with some girl. Not because he most likely has a girlfriend, but because of the way he acted towards me. He wasn't even happy. He was pissed. I didn't even get a chance to explain myself.

I lost my appetite after that. I walked to the table where GiGi was and plopped in the chair.

GiGi saw that I was about to cry and immediately became concerned. "What's wrong?"

"It's official...Odell hates me." A tear rolled down my cheek. GiGi took her napkin and wiped it away.

"No he doesn't. Don't say that." She shook her head. "Tell me what happened?"

"I seen him and I tried to talk to him but he clearly wasn't interested. Then when I was about to explain to him why I went M.I.A, he told me to save my bullshit sob story for someone else. Then, I'm guessing his girlfriend came up and he walked away with her." I sniffled. "Can we just go back to the dorm? I really don't want to be here right now."

Giana wiped her mouth and nodded. "Sure."

I covered my face and walked out while Giana went to throw her food away. Once she threw it away, she left the building and wrapped her arm over my shoulder.

"C'mon girly."

Ever since I made it back to the dorm with Jarvis, he has been talking my head off about Yvonnie. I'm trying not to be rude but I was really aggravated at this point.

"It was so funny cause she didn't even recognize me at first. Like I literally walked right past her and said hey like it was nothing—" And this is where I cut him off. I'm done.

"Jarvis, I don't care! I've been listening to you talk about Yvonnie the second we got in! I don't give a fuck! So please be quiet!" I shouted at him.

He stared at me for a good thirty seconds before nodding and climbing into his bed. "You're right. Good night man." He turned on his side, his back facing me.

I sighed and got into my bed. I got comfortable then turned off the lamp that was next to me on my nightstand.
