What are you doing Durga? You were going to give up? This is not what Appa has taught you. You will have to be brave. Yesterday you had prepared yourself for finding jobs. What if you didn't get this one? I will try for another job.

With renewed energy, Durga searched for jobs in the newspaper column. Her eyes would also land up on the advertisement of 'Discovering India's Heritage'. She would shake her head and search for another advertisement. After two hours of searching in English and Kannada newspaper, she got up. She heard a faint rumble from her stomach.

Never mind Durga, you can search for the job after you have your lunch.

" Sir, tourism minister of Andhra Pradesh is coming to meet you tomorrow." said a woman entering Rudra's office.

Rudra got up and asked, " What?"

" Yes Sir you heard it right. His secretary was telling that the minister's son, Arjun was your good friend. He recommended our name." said the woman beaming with happiness.

" Why do they want to meet us?"

" I don't know Sir. They told that will telling it to you tomorrow."

" Okay Rosy, you may leave."

Rosy, the receptionist, left the room. She was hired for taking calls from government, regarding funds. A very tiring job with making many number of calls in a day. She had to deal with the government officials, trying to convince them for providing funds for further projects and excavations. Sadly they weren't able to convince them. But Rudra believed that constantly irritating them might make them think once again.

Arjun recommend my name? He was very interested in joining my office. But he was pushed into politics. I must say he is doing very well.

Rudra smiled. He decided he will be meeting Durga and asking her to rejoin the office.

Durga slapped her forehead.

How can I be so stupid? I can easily go to the cyber cafe and check for the job.

Durga jumped from sofa and washed her face. Quickly pinning her dupatta, she took her purse. She opened the door to find a man standing there. She gasped.

" Sir, you here?" asked Durga.

" Yes Durga. Won't you let me in?"

" Yes yes of course. Please come in." said Durga, inviting Rudra.

Rudra entered the living room and sat on the sofa. He looked at Durga and asked, " Going somewhere?"

Durga smiled weakly and shook her head. How can I tell him that I was going to search for a job?

" Sir please wait. I will get you filter coffee."

" Durga! No need of such formalities. I am fine."

" No Sir I insist." said Durga, in an assertive tone.

Rudra was lost in deep thought for some moments.

When Durga says 'she insists' then you shouldn't refuse her.

Rudra nodded. She went to the kitchen. Rudra looked at the photo of Durga and Akshad, smiling.

Your advice is really helping me Sir.

Not many people know about this type of coffee. Well I am a filter coffee addict. What I have observed in South India is, many people believe serving filter coffee is better than serving tea.

I came across this monument in Andhra Pradesh, now Telangana. Well I am narrating the story set in 2006, the state hadn't split then. So I will be referring Andhra Pradesh as whole. The monument is not very famous but when you will read about I bet you will think we Indians are so smart! :)

Thank you for reading.
