"Teddy, dear, are you ready?" Andromeda Tonks asked her grandson, checking her watch. It was Teddy's first day of Hogwarts, and he was beyond excited. Andromeda smooth down his blue hair, smiling at the brown and pink strands at the front.
"I wish I knew someone, Grandmum." He said nervously.
"Victoire will be there next year, love."
"I know, but I'm all alone."
"You won't be alone, Ted. Neither of your parents knew anyone going into their first year, and they both made great friends." Andromeda smiled at the nervous young boy with bright hair.
"What if I'm in Slytherin?"
"I was in Slytherin, Ted. It's not an awful place."
"I thought you were in Gryffindor?"
"Not at all." Andromeda chuckled. "I made plenty of wonderful friends in Slytherin, and you will too no matter what house you end up in."
"Thanks, Grandmum." Teddy smiled as he took her hand, and they Apparated together.
