"You did what!?"

My friend Kiana practically yelled at me. I quickly grabbed her arm, turning my back to the guys in the kitchen now staring at us.

"Kiana shh! Now they know we're discussing it" I sheepishly said, trying not too look back.

"Well it's about time" she said with a smile, nudging my arm. "Liv guess what just finally happened?" She called out to my other friend who was passing by.

I stood there embarrassed at her outbursts, listening to her spill the gossip to my other friend Liv.

"You finally made out with Connor?" Liv followed in Holly's footsteps, almost yelling it out as well.

"Yes I did, okay. Now if you two school girls could quiet down, I would much appreciate it" I couldn't help but let out a little laugh at my damande.

"I can't believe this finally happened, we've all been trying to get you two to hook up for ages, but it's difficult as hell when your both the shyest people in all of Erie" Kiana happily explained.

I couldn't help but sigh again, I looked back towards the kitchen, where Connor was gathered around the island with his friends, who were all struggling emensly to open some beer. We made eye contact for a split second before I turned my attention back to Liv and Kiana.

It was true though. Our group of friends was somewhat large, around 14 people. We did everything together, spending all 5 days a week together at school then the weekend as well. We had "parties" at each other's house on the weekends and being the typical seniors we were, we all hooked up with one another at some point or other.

There was no denying Connor and I wanted to "hook up", but, as said by Kiana, we were both extremely shy.

We were friends and had been for awhile. I would spend my weekend nights wondering impatiently if he had finally worked up the courage to make a move. That day had finally come, today.

"Holly?"

I was pulled out of my thoughts to Liv's words. I focused my eyes back on her, her blonde hair was a mess and her eyes were glossed over.

"We're going to get some food, come"

I follwed behind, trying to avoid going towards Connor and the guys.

"So..." Kiana started, as she took a swing at her Coke. "Do give details" she winked at me. I rolled my eyes, giving her a light nudge.

"Oh come on Holl, was it good?" Liv popped a chip into her mouth, raising her eyebrows at me.

"Yes guys, yes it was" I said with a laugh. This time I couldn't help but look up at Connor, who, was looking right back.

I felt my face heat up as I turned on my heals, heading towards the living room. I sat on the couch next to mine and Connor friends Roy and Dylan. I watched as everyone did their own thing. Some played pong, others laughed hysterically at God knows what, while others took pictures, and Connor, sat on a chair in the living room, just a few feet away from me.

I loved this stuff. There was never much to do in Erie, especially on weekends. The most exciting thing we ever did was attend the Erie Otters games, which we did quite often. The weekends that we all spent together gave me so much joy. We made memories without even realizing it, always having a good time no matter what. It hurt me to think that all of this would be different next year. It was April, and in a few months we would have prom, graduate, move away and, Connor and Dylan would most likely be playing in the NHL.

I had to cherish these last weekends spent with my favourite people, and that was exactly what I had intended on doing.

"Holly, my dads here" Kiana called. I stood up from the couch, pulling my shirt down in the process. I walked past Connor as he gave me an extremely cute smile. A smile spread across my face as I couldn't help it.

Before I knew it I was dragging myself up the stairs of my home to my room.
Once I reached my room I plopped down on my bed, pulling my phone out of my pocket and checking the time. 12:47am it read. I scoffed, not wanting to get up and change into my pjs.

Once I finally worked up the courage to get ready for bed and a much needed sleep, my phone went off.

I leaned over to grab it, seeing a text messages on the blinding lit up screen.

Connor: Did you get home safe cutie?

My face lit up as I felt my insides heat up. I was still in shock that him and I actually made out tonight. It wasn't anything big, but still.

Once my smile died down and I was able to collect myself, I replied, and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep that night with the hugest smile plastered onto my face.
