Chapter 4

When the bell rang for lunch i jumped out of my chair as fast as possible and ran out of class. why you ask? well because Nathan wouldn't stop calling my name all  through class and i didn't want to talk to him so i was avoiding him.

As i walked down the hall i heard someone call  my name name from behind me but i continued to walk until i got to the cafeteria. i looked around and i saw Emily and Nicky our other friend. walked up to them and sat down. i let out  a sigh, phew that was a close one.

''Hey Claire, are you okay? you seem very nervous'' Nicky asked looking concerned.

''Oh.. eh yeah im fine, just hungry'' i took out a sandwich from my bag, she didn't look convinced.

As i bit into my sandwich i heard my name being shouted ''Claire... Claire i was calling you, did you not hear me?'' 

I turned around to see Logan walking towards me, i relaxed . Logan had been my best,best, best friend since we were like 3 or 4, we went to kinder garden together and our moms became friends and so  did we. Logan was tall, strong, tanned, had deep blue eyes and black hair, he was considered good looking but since he is like a brother to me i don't really take notice of his looks.

I snapped back into reality and saw him looking at me annoyed.

''Helloooo Claire, are you even listening to me,  why didn't you answer me i called your name like five times?'' He looked hurt.

''Oh no i wasn't trying to avoid you i would never ignore you''' i face palmed myself.

He relaxed and sat don next to me, the next thing i knew he took my sandwich out of my hands and bit into it! MY mouth formed an O and my eyes widened. No one takes my food. i slapped him on the head and grabbed my sandwich back. Logan laughed

''It Wasn't that nice any way'' he teased. I just shrugged and ate it.

''So, who did you think was calling your name?''

''Oh eh i thought it was Nathan Rivers''  i blushed slightly and took another bite of my sandwich.

''Oh right, that Jerk.. Why did you think i was him?''

''Ehh... well long story short, he sat in my chair in algebra and started flirting with me and then when i ignored him he wouldn't shut up and called my name all through algebra.''

Logan's face tensed and i saw a hint of anger in his eyes!

''He was flirting with you?'' He said loudly ''I want you to stay away from him Claire he's Bad News''he stood up quickly and stormed off.

Well that was odd i know Logan was just being protective, he always was, but he is going a bit over the top.

I looked over to Emily and Nikey who where having their own conversation. i decided i would go to the bathroom before class, i got up waved to the girls and headed for the toilets. As i was walking down the hall i saw him, Nathan. i quickly hid behind an open locker. when he walked past i over herd him say to his friend jay, ''Man i bet you i could get her in my bed in 5 days, you should of seen her face when i kept calling her name in algebra''

What a jerk!
