Hello So in English 10 today we had to write a ballad. So I decided to share it with ya to see what all y'all think so here it is.
The Ballad (The Theater)

I sat there, like a cat waiting.
The cast had froze with fear
The lights were on, but quickly fading,
We are not all friends here.
The curtains will open, the show shall start.
I hear the hearts around me
I feel the beating, beating of the heart.
When will they come be free?
The lights shut, the curtains rise
The seats groan from the weight
The weight of life from all the lies
The lies that spread the hate.
Ok so there ya go and this really doesn't have much meaning. I'm Just really bored and I've been wanting to do one of these type of books for a while this poem just gave me a push a friend of min encouraged me to. So I was a bad person and ave into peer pressure. Anyway
