I nodded and he left me there. I looked through the glass and took a deep breath. I put up my thumb and I heard music instantly flood the headphones.

They let me listen to the beat before I started so I could know what I wanted to do.

I started to sing and I felt like this was something I loved. It was therapeutic.

I walked out of the studio and they clapped.

"Well thank you!", I smiled.

"Chris tomorrow is Saturday. Your birthday my nigga!", Keeis said doing a handshake with Chris.

"Twenty Seven nigga....I'm getting old as fuck.", he laughed.

"Yea...you getting up there dude. Almost thirty.", Hoody laughed earning a straight face from Chris.

"Your birthday is tomorrow?", I questioned.

"Yea....he only been talking about Saturday for like....all week.", Keeis laughed.

"Oh. And you want to spend your birthday making me happy?", I asked.

"Making you happy makes me happy.", he said swinging his arm over my shoulders.

He has been so sweet lately. Looking out for me, making sure Lucas couldn't hurt me, hiring people to protect me...

"I guess you in OHB now.", Red joked.

"I guess so.", I laughed.

We mixed my song around and added things to it. It was a really cool experience for me. Nobody has ever really believed in me like this.

"What's wrong ma?", Chris asked.

"Nothing. Why?", I asked.

"Your crying...", he pointed out.

I didn't even notice.

"I just wish my moma coulda' been here. She always told me my 'writings' were going to get me somewhere. So did my therapist.", I admitted.

"Be great ma. She's looking down on you so proudly. I know it." , he said nudging me.

"I know...", I smiled.

"I really wish you would go back to being a savage. I can't take crybaby Rayah.", he laughed.

"Shut the fuck up. You will deal.", I joked.

"I guess so.", he smirked.

"Go away!", I whined covering my face from blushing.

He was having this effect on me these days.

"No...", he said walking up behind me with his hands around my waist. His chin sat in the crook of my neck.

"Better be lucky your birthday is tomorrow."

"Or what?", he challenged.

"We would be scrapping. Shoo....", I said rolling my eyes.

"Girl boo...", he said slapping my butt.

"Hey!", I said jumping.

"What?", he said hiding a smile.

"I'm gone beat yo ass. That's what.", I rolled my eyes.

"Girl goodbye. Goodnight. Adios. Farewell. Kicks rocks. Deuces . Take care. So long. Later. Sayonara. Peace-", I cut him off.

"Please stop.", I laughed holding my stomach.

"Ight, After the show, tonight at twelve, I need you to come to my room.", he said.

"For?", I asked.

"A surprise.", he said back.

"Your surprising me at twelve on your birthday? Type of mess...", I said startled.

"Just come. Damn.", he said rubbing my sides up and down.

"Sure.", I said side eyeing him.

"Sure.", he mocked.

"You irk me.", I laughed.

"You love it though.", he said smirking.

"Please stop!", I whined again at his cuteness.

"Whatever, ma. I'll be back. I gotta go get some stuff straight.", he said hugging me.

"Okay.", I nodded as he left.

Lets just hope tonight is good....
