We all have our demons
But mine are stronger
Cause I can't explain
The cuts on my arms
The scars on my fingers
The blood in the sheets and the pain that keeps-
Coming back- regardless of remedies
Hallucinations, Desires and Insanities
My demons they are named
And they have more fame
That a tarnished reputation can ever have
For mirrors though cracked
Can still let you see your reflectionAnd silence is louder
Than sirens and gunpowder.
But my blood is poison
And I'm the only one drinking it
And my demons are in control
And their sovereignty has taken its toll
For my skin is no longer my skin
And my heart is no longer light
For everything inside out has been changed and replaced
With things that are not brightAnd the only thing left
Is the darkness that creptThrough me since birth
And the thing that took over first.The demons..
