I have to keep running, if I stop now, I won't make it. As I turned my head around, I saw a hand reaching out for me, for my head.
"Skye, how could you?" I looked down at my hand. I was holding the gun that I had shot Josh with.
*Screams*
I sat up straight in my bed, drenched in sweat, full of fear. Zack woke up, and started to hold me.
"Skye, what's wrong?" I could hear the genuine concern in his voice. I can't put him through another night like this. So, what would any good person who has nightmares do? I lied.
"N-nothing. Sorry Zack, go back to sleep."
A few minutes later, Zack was out cold, with his arm around me, like he was trying to protect me from anything that would try to hurt his w-.....uh....girlfriend. Even though I knew it wouldn't help with the nightmares, I still couldn't help but feel a little bit safer with him by my side. My eyelids closed over my blue-green eyes, and I fell asleep. But not without one last thought. When will this end?
