"Thank you." He said suddenly. You stopped sending punches and kicks to Shikamaru and turned your head to him.

"Hm? Oh, no problem, really." You replied quietly.

"Just try not to get into anymore trouble, will ya?" You teased while flicking his forehead. He didn't say anything, but nodded.

"Oi, Y/n. We'll see you soon." Kankuro said. You gave him a two-fingered salute.

"Aye aye, captain kitty!" You said with a smirk. Matsuri giggled while Shikamaru just sighed.

"Can you guys take her with you?" He asked.

"Excuse me?" You asked while looming over him with a frying pan in hand. Temari chuckled.

"Unfortunately no, but I wouldn't mind if you'd visit us Y/n. I have a feeling we'll get along quite nicely." She said towards you.

"Then we can talk about how Shikamaru's an asswipe." You said with a closed eye grin.

"Come on, I thought we were over that..." He whined.

The four of them were leaving, but Matsuri turned around and ran towards you.

"Thank you Y/n." She said suddenly.

"Huh?"

"Because of you and Naruto, I finally understand the words that Gaara sensei spoke to me. I'll dedicate myself under Gaara's sensei's teachings." She said before bowing and running back to catch up with the group.

"What did you do?" Shikamaru asked while turning his head. You let out a soft laugh.

"I guess I helped someone." You replied.

You were in your house, cleaning up every room.

Hm? Hime? Why are you cleaning like a Levi?

'Loki! I haven't heard from you recently! And, I'm never going to be as neat at Levi, let's get that straight. And I'm going away for two years to train myself! Well, you'll train me for Fire Bending!'

Cool!!

'I know right?! It's gonna be so fun! But I'll have to shower first and pack my things. I'm heading out with Naruto and Jiraiya before I split from them.'

You quickly got a new set of clothes and hopped in the shower for a quick rinse. Approximately 15 minutes later, you were done and hopped out.

"K, let's get packin'!" You exclaimed. You packed extra kunai, scrolls, shuriken, and some senbon needles. You saw the envelope that the Hokage gave you and shoved it under your top.

'Better not forget that.' You thought.

"K, the two perverts should be leaving soonly." You muttered while slinging your back over your shoulder.

You saw Jiraiya and Naruto up ahead at the gates, already leaving.

"Oi! You two idiots! Wait up!" You called out. They stopped and turned around.

"Y/n... why are you here?" Naruto asked.

"What does it look like? I'm going to travel with you until I split off." You replied casually. He just nodded.

"Alright, let's get going." Jiraiya said. You two both nodded before following him out of the village.

"So, you're going to train alone, Y/n?" Jiraiya asked.

"Yeah, well, there's no one else who can teach me my clans Jutsu." You said while shrugging. About half an hour into the walk you came at a cross road.

"Well, I think it's time we split up." You said. The two nodded.

"See you into two years Naruto!!" You said while running ahead.

"And you better grow strong!" You added. He nodded his head.

"I will! Believe it!" He replied.

'I do...'

It's been about an hour since you split from the two of them, so you decided to rest.

'I should see what's inside the envelope.' You thought while pulling it out from your top. You cut the seal and slowly pulled it out. It was a note from the third Hokage.

'Dearest Y/n,
I've been saving this note for a while and now that you're older and mature enough. I think it's about time you finally know the truth about that night.

The truth about your parent's deaths—'

Well my gems, it's been a long and screwed up journey, but sadly it's come to an end...
