I'm tired of being in this school. I've only been in class for 15-20 mins but these classes are way to long. This teachers voice annoys me so much and it doesn't even help that my nerves are shot.
"Aye Ray."
I heard Jacob call my name so I turned to him.
"You got a pen?"
"Yeah"
I handed a pen back to him
"Thanks man."
"Mr. Perez Mr. Smithare you talking In my class?!"
This crusty a$$ B--
"I was asking him for a pen so I could finish YOUR notes."
"But I said no talking!"
"It was a 10 sec conversation stop trippin like we were sitting here yelling across the room for the past 30 minutes calm down. " I said sucking my teeth.
"Whispering is talking Mr. Smith. So enough before that smart mouth lands you with detention. "
"Listen old lady you act like its gonna kill you if we talk and sadly your still alive. So I'm guessing its not that big of a deal. " The class laughed as the teacher gasped
"That's it detention for 2 days"
"Like I'm really gonna go. " I rolled my eyes and the class laughed again.
"Mr. Smith I will not tolerate rudeness get out of my classroom. "
"Does that mean I can go home?"
"Chres still has your keys bruh" Jacob said killing my enthusiasm
I sucked my teeth and gathered my books
"Man. I hate it here." I slammed her door shut making a echoing boom in the empty hall. I was just walking around since technically she never said to go to the principals office so I just walked into the gym and started to talk to the coaches. They like me so they don't care.
The bell rung not that long after so I was heading to my next class when someone was standing in my way. And that someone was Melody.
"Hey Ray. "
"Hey Mel. Bye Mel" I tried walking around but she pushed me back by my stomach.
"Oh my. You have a very nice 6 pack there. "
"Please don't touch me" I said taking her hand off of me.
"Come on baby you Don't have to act like that still she's out of the picture now. So we can finally be together. "
"We're not going to be together ok?"
She groaned loudly and stomped her foot.
"Come on Ray at least give us a try "
I looked down at her annoyed but she has a point. I'm technically single and I'm amazingly attractive so why not?
"I'll think about it. Ok?"
Her eyes widened.
"Oh my gosh!! Thank You Thank You Thank You!!" She jumped up and down like a little girl and hugged me.
I know your probably thinking "Well he rebounded fast" well I get over things fast. I'm not gonna sit here and sobbing and weeping making myself feel like crap for someone who doesn't care for me. You will only see me at my lowest one time. After that I bottle up my emotions. I ain't no punk.

I was sittin in the courtyard with Ray trying to find him a couple of sidelines.
"Ok what about her?"
"Nahh she needs edge control"
"Ok. What about her shawty firm. "
"Yeah. She real firm but her face scary lookin. "
I scoffed
"You picky you know that right?"
"I'm just lookin for a THOT. But you know it's cuffing season. I ain't trying to get in a relationship. "
I nodded.
"Aye does your cousin still post up on Kenton and Second? Or did his stupid self in jail?"
I looked over at him. He talking bout my cousin Bengie. He sells drugs and been in jail 4 times already. And he's only 19.
"Why? You trying to buy? I thought you stopped that. "
He groaned
"Look ill ask Jacob. I could get it from his brothers."
He said trying to dismiss it.
"Ray. I thought you stopped smoking. "Well now I'm going to start again. Okay Mom. Damn why is you all surprised fo'?. We used to roll up all the time. Get faded get girls dassit.
"I have a girl Jacob has a girl Chres has a girls you had a girl. And girls don't like when guys smell like weed.
"Does it look like I care. "
He gave me a blank look. I sighed
"Do whatever you want man just don't do something you'll regret. "
He clenched his jaw
"The only thing I regret is wasting my time on her. "
He said nodding his head to Faith walking by with Masons arm wrapped around her shoulder. I chuckled.
"What's funny?" He snapped at me.
"That's why you want some good huh? To take your mind off of her. "
"No. I'm over her. She's the past. I'm done with her. "
I shook my head.
"Naahh Ray I done known you too long. Your not really over it. But I'm not gonna bug you cuz like you said I ain't go momma. And I frankly don't give a damn. "
"Aight. Ill holla. "
He said giving me dap.
"But I'd go to the Blexicans. My cousin likes to experiment too much."
I honestly couldn't care less if he smokes. He can do whatever he wants.

I was standing at my locker texting Ray.
-Tell your brother I'll hit him up right after we break out. -
-Yeah aight.-
"Who you textin baby?"
I jumped turning around face to face with Aaliyah.
"Huh?"
She gave me a weird look
"Never mind. You want to go to the movies tonight?"
"Uhh I cant I have homework sorry."
"Well we'll go to your house then and watch some there."
I shook my head
"You know I don't like when your over there. I feel like you'll be influenced."
She groaned
"Come on Jacob please."
She stuck out her bottom lip.
"Your abuela loves me."
"Yeah cuz she don't know who you are. If she did she would be mad I'm with you."
"Well she might be at the center playing chess or something. Who says she'll be there huh? I just wanna spend time with you."

I groaned and held her waist.

"I swear girl you gonna get me arrested."

I kissed her lips.

"I gotta pick up my sisters first ok?"

"Yeah ok."

I hugged her tight and went off to class.

Faith

I was standing at my locker looking for my homework due next period.

Where is it? I know it's here because I put it here this morning

I stood  on my tippy toes trying to get my self further in to reach the back so i was unknowingly sticking my butt in the air.

"Booty got me like GAHHHDAMMNNN"

I laughed at the stupid comment.

"Shut up Jamal"

Jamal's been my friend since a long time ago. And he's cute too. Hes dark skin, dark brown eyes, a nice body, and full lips. His hair is always lined up and clean. At one point we dated but we agreed its better if we're friends. I talk to him when I need someone to talk to from time to time.

"Whats up girl? I havent talked to you in a minute."

"Well you were the one that wanted to go on a vacation."

He smirked and put his arm around me

"So whats been happenin with you and your boyfriend. Ive been hearin some rumors. About how you cheated on him and broke his heart and he cursed you out and slapped you. I really hope that last part wasnt true because then ill  have to end up causing a scene."

Shaking my head i sighed

"Umm no.its not. But he did curse me out but it was my fault. Its a long story."

I frowned a bit.

"Weve got time"

I groaned a bit and told him what happened. He didnt judge me,agree with me, bash or yell. Just took it all in and nodded.

"And now I feel so bad."

"Well are you happy?"

"Yes."

"Well thats whats important. I understand where Rays coming from though. He did give you alot but if he cares about you like he says he does then after a while if he recognizes your happy then he'll eventually wont be as mad. Dont beat yourself up because some else isnt happy of your deciscion . Your living for you not them remember that."

I smiled.

"Thanks Jamal."

"Your Welcome. I swear if it wasnt for me youd be a hot mess."

He looked me up and down.

"Well I cant really say that your always a hot mess."

I gasped and hit him.

"No i dont I have a really good sense of style."

He burst out laughing.

"Who told you that terrible lie?"

"You will always be a trip"

"And you'll always be my bae."

He grabbed me closer kissing my forehead

Man I love this dude. Hes like the big bro I never had. My Day 1 nigga.
