Chapter 20

"Welcome home, mom!" You exclaimed laughing. Toriel had a shocked expression before she smiled and patted your head.

"Thank you, my child. Would you like to have some pie?" Toriel asked as you let her go. You shooked your head and smiled sadly.

"Mom...i've been wanting to asked you this..." Her shoulder was tenses as she looked at you, pity presented on her eyes.

"I know, you wanted to leave, right?" She chuckled, patting your head. You looked down and nodded solemnly.

"______...please stay...it's dangerous out there...you might get-"

"Killed? Yeah, i figured that out." You held your necklace with the (f/c) mixed with white heart on it.

"Then that would make it easier to explain." She smiled, her eyes now flickering with hope. "You can stay here, i will provide you with my-"

"No, Toriel." You interrupted her. She looked at your small form, your eyes casting down on the floor. "I need to go home."

"...i got something to do. Pleease stay here, my child." She sighed before going downstairs. You stood there for awhile before following her.

You could see her from afar once you reached downstairs. Her back was turned on you. She was walking slowly yet firmly.

"I'm going to destroy the gate. Once and for all." She said in a cold tone. You didn't responded and kept on following her.

"My child...please head upstairs."

"..."

"They will kill you...the monsters...Asgore..."

"..."

Both of you reached to the large gate, the end of the path. She turned around and faced you, her eyes filled with DETERMINATION.

"Then...fight me. Prove to me you're strong enough to survive out there!"

The room glitched into black and white, your necklace glowing and four icons appeared in front of you.

"Tori..." You whispered, you looked at her sadly. She looked away as her magic fireball formed on her hand.

She attacked you with her fire magic, being thrown at your direction. You ran and dodged the attacks. She continued to attack you with her fireballs as you tried to dodge all of them.

The attack's speed increased and you got struck by one of the fireballs. You winced and held your stomach tightly.

Toriel kept firing the fireballs as the speed increased. You told her you didn't want to fight, yet she did not listen to you.

Wounds were all over your body. You panted heavily as you wiped off the blood thay trickled from your mouth.

_____ you had to fight her!

"N-no..." You gritted your teeth clenching your fist before you tried to stand up again.

You had to, wether you like it or not!

"No..."

Or else she will kill you!

Your mind went blank at that word.

"Kill..."

No. Toriel would never wanted to. She told you so.

Then why is she attacking you now?

"..."

You stood up, your face looking down, covered by your bangs. You started to chuckle, earning a confused look from Toriel.

"Heh...i guess you're right, Chara." You gave out a dry laugh. Toriel's eyes widen at the mention of their name. You pulled out your pocket knife and pointed it at Toriel.

"Everyone loved me..." The heart on your necklace changed to white. "Then they would betray me."

Your eyes glowed dangerously white as you glared at Toriel, the wounds on your body slowly healing. Tears dripped down your cheeks as you smiled, although it didn't reach your eyes.

"Then why shouldn't i kill them first?~"

A/N: i know. This chapter sucks a lot. You are becoming a psycopath, then you became nice, and then you became a murderer. I don't even know it would become like this. I will update every one week from now on...
