peridot was watching with Steven a tv show it was November 18 and she was nearly at the end of her pregnancy, nine months
already.peridot then felt a weird feeling and got scared. Steven then asked" what's wrong peridot".peridot then cringed and finally said" s.s.steven my water broke, then peridot clutched to her swelled stomach in pain and gave a horrible giant scream. Steven then grabbed peridot's hand and she squeezed his in pain as she tried calming down with breathing. then the rest of the family members burst through the door as peridot gave another big scream. then they now knew that the baby was coming. peridot then screamed " IT HURTS REALLY BAD"!garnet then got peridot carefully not to hurt the baby. she then said pearl amethyst you guys help me. jasper and lapis take stephen outside this might turn out into a mess. peridot then screamed as the baby gemling, got more down. she screamed again and got ready for the delivery. garnet told her to spread her legs and take a deep breath. peridot breathe and felt more pain.Steven was next to peridot holding her hand. garnet was going to helping with the delivery, pearl was in charge to clean the baby and amethyst was going to rap it in a blanket.peridot knew what to do so she pushed then screamed. Steven felt his hand be squeezed strongly. peridot then breathe as she was about to push again. she then pushed again with as tears of pain fell down her eyes. garnet then said" I see the head of the little baby". peridot then felt even more pain that she screamed for stephen, jasper, and lapis hear outside. peridot then pushed again for the third time. garnet said two more pushes and you'll be done. peridot then felt that it was almost done, she then took another deep breathe and pushed again followed by a loud scream. stephen could hear the screams of her mother. she knew that being in labor delivering a baby was pretty painful. peridot then took big breathes as it came for the last one, garnet then told her to push as hard as she could. peridot then squeezed steven's hand very hard and then suddenly screamed as she pushed very hard and pain shot through her. she then heard a wail coming from the baby. it was a baby boy this time. peridot smiled weakly as the baby boy cried. he had normal hair he was a peach color and had his hair brown.his gem was round,green just like stephen rosie's gem, but located in his navel.he open his small eyes and were blueish-green eyes.pearl then cleaned the clear green substance fluid off the tiny fragile gemling. amethyst then rapped him around a blanket. she then passed the baby to peridot. peridot smiled as she saw her beautiful precious son.the baby then yawned and sucked on its thumb and fell asleep. peridot then hugged the baby carefully not to hurt it.stephen, lapis, and jasper came in and saw peridot holding something small in her hands. stephen then said" is that my little sister or brother." your little brother ,stephen" said peridot.jasper then said" now let's see the beautiful bundle of joy. peridot then removed the blanket and reveled the baby boy. stephen giggled in happiness, jasper let out a small tear and thought that the baby was cute.lapis touched the baby and then it opens its beautiful blue-emerald eyes and giggles and grabbed lapis lazuli's finger. lapis couldn't help but smile.peridot then asked" what should we name him Steven then was saying, "stev-"then peridot said" idot,stevidot, it is. Steven then said now which middle name, "topaz, tourmaline, peridot then answered quartz and last name universe. "stevidot quartz universe".so they agreed, now that the baby boy was born they were going to protect him and take good care of him.
