"Do you have it?"  She asked quietly, hoping not to wake her newborn daughter up.

"Yes, here." He smiled at his wife as he gave her the necklace. She quickly furrowed her eyebrows in confusion,

"Why is it glowing already? It's not on her."

"I don't know, it's probably supposed to do that... We didn't know what it was like when ours were put on us." He said as he touched his own glowing necklace.

She let out a sigh of relief and smiled as she put the necklace around her daughter's small and chubby neck. The daughter smiled a small smile while sleeping.

The wife laughed lightly and the husband gazed on his daughter's face. She placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead and walked out of the room, off to bed.

The husband walked over to his daughter and stroked her hair, "No one can ever break your heart, Meira, you have nothing to worry about."  He squeezed her small hand lightly, and followed his wife to bed.
