tips for fanfiction writers

my writing routine

the title is a bit over-exaggerated but yet, what part of my life isn't

"hey how do u get story ideas"

"how 2 write"

"what do u do when u write"

and it's not something i can answer within a snap ok writing takes dedication

i know i sound like some deluded ass fanfiction writer who treats fanfiction like it's some kind of genre that requires "ONLY THE BEST"

nah fanfiction is chill, this book is just for the ones who want to read tips from me, an inexperienced kid

b a s i c a l l y

i write ok

but i don't write good good

i mean sure i try to keep it as sensible as possible, but writing isn't all about the outer appearance, it's what you mean when you arrange the words in a sentence

listen, smart people can baffle you with nonsense and you'd still believe it since it'S A SMART ASS PERSON OKAY

but if a person who is not considered "smart" tells you something you might have not known about before, you question them

what im trying to say is that not everything that is grammar-perfect is a great book

and not everything with crooked grammar is a bad book

however

the quality (¿) of the writing is based on the reader. some might like it, some might don't

SO you can't just write like a great author within a few minutes of reading this "book"

if that doesn't happen, im sorry that's just not the right story idea for you

but who am i to say that right?? write what u wanna, you do you booboo

i sit down and type

maybe get a soda

mainly i get inspiration at night time and i have to hide under the covers just typing away and when i write, it's usually like a rlly fast typing thing bc SO MUCH IDEAS ALL AT ONCE I GOTTA WRITE EVERYTHING

so u just gotta find the right time to start writing you feel me
