"DICKOLES!!" You yelled while smashing into a tree. You started to slide downwards, but he shot out more webs from his mouth and encased you.
"Dude... Ewww..." You whined.
"Y/N!" You heard Naruto yell.
"YO! I'M OVER HERE!" You called back. The group jumped onto a branch, and gawked at you.
"Y/n! How in the world did you get beaten?!" Neji asked. You rolled your eyes.
"NOT important! Where's Choji?!" You asked.
"He was fighting the fat guy from before." Naruto replied. You tch'd before closing your eyes.
"Demon Style: Flame Vortex!" You screamed. Black flames started swirling around you, burning away the sticky substance. You jumped down onto a branch while the flames disintegrated.
"Oi! Neji! You're the only one who's cabals of cutting through his webs right?!" You asked. He nodded.
"Good. Naruto, Kiba, Shikamaru, let's go! I'll cover for you. Neji! If ya need help just say my name!" You said while the three of them were jumping past you. He nodded.
"Thank you." He said. You gave him a two fingered salute before turning around and following the others.
~ It's been awhile since you guys left behind Neji and were just running tree to tree.
"I wonder how Neji's doing." Kiba spoke up.
"I'm sure he's fine." Shikamaru said. Something, a smell, hit your nose at that moment.
'No, he's not.'
You stopped on a branch and looked back towards where he was located.
"What's wrong, Y/n?" Naruto asked.
"Blood... I smell blood..." You replied.
"Whose?" Kiba asked.
"Neji's..." You replied. Their eyes widened.
"I'm going back." You said suddenly while getting ready to jump.
"Wait! What about us?!" Naruto asked. You looked behind you and did the Jutsu formation.
"Blood clone Jutsu." You said. A clone of you made of blood appeared.
"Here." You said. Shikamaru sighed.
"It'll have to do, but come back to us as soon as possible." He gave in. You nodded.
"Will do captain." You replied while jumping away.
'Tch... It'll take me forever to get to him jumping...' You thought. You stopped and bit your thumb.
"Summoning Jutsu!"

"Kuroi, follow that blood scent. Hoheo taralna, rondero tarel." You ordered while getting on her. She growled before taking off.
~ You and Kuroi arrived at where Neji had fought and quickly scanned around the area when your eyes landed on the body of the spider dude, and...
... Neji...
"Neji!" You called out while jumping off of Kuroi and running towards him. You crouched down and checked his pulse.
"He's barely alive." You muttered. You bit your lip before pressing two fingers against his forehead.
"Forbidden Art: Angel's Healing." You said. Your fingers started glowing white as well as Neji's body. All of his injuries were healing and his pulse sped up back to normal. Once the white light died down, you removed your fingers and picked him up bridal style before leaning him against a tree trunk.
Your breathing was heavy and your chakra was almost depleted as well as your energy. Angel's Healing takes a lot of chakra and energy to fully heal a person back to 100%. Neji groaned and stirred around a little until his eyes opened. He looked around until his lavender eyes landed on you.
"Y/n! What are you doing here?!" He asked while sitting up.
"What does it look like dumbass, you were sort of... Oh, I don't know... DYING?!" You sarcastically replied. He looked down at his body and saw all of his wounds healed.
"How...?" He trailed off.
"That doesn't matter. Anyways, you're still too weak to fight. You have almost no chakra and energy and I have to regroup with the others. However, I put a protection barrier around this area. Just leave when you're fully rested." You said while standing up and starting to walk away.
"Wait." He called out, making you stop and turn your head.
"Thank you. For saving me." He said. You smiled cheekily.
"Nah, no need to thank me. It's hard to ignore your friend's blood scent." You replied while jumping away, missing the soft smile that adorned his face.
