It's 5 o'clock so I grab my books and get out of the library to go to my piano class. Piano has always been a part of my life, I love writing music, because is a way to express my feelings but my dream was always being a lawyer so I really don't see music in my professional future.

I have my life planned already. I want to go Oxford University and live in London until the rest of my days.

On my way to the piano class I pass for my favourite tea shop. Bubbleology. It's my favorite place where I can watch the rain drizzle against the old thick glass, while I drink some delicious bubble tea. Also the walls are covered in equations and we breathe chemistry and science in there.

Sometimes I think that I'm so old for my age but I'm just abnormally obsessed with so many things that normal people just aren't obsessed with. For example, I love, love cooking! I'm fascinated by lots of things. I love fireworks. They're so mesmerizing and echanting. That's my favourite part of New Year's Eve, when the fireworks go off at midnight on January first. I like to write stories, I'm always writing on my notebook. My favourite color is black. It's such a bold and mysterious colour. My word right now is 'complicated'. I think that is because I've finally realised how complicated life can actually be. We just have to be constantly looking before we fall, we have to blindly trust and get along with others.

Also, I have never had a boyfriend, because I don't feel comfortable with falling into a relationship. It's frightening the lack of control we have above our feelings.

Love is a promise, is not always believing in what the other believes but is believing in what the other says.

We trust and believe unconditionally, we give so much without asking nothing back, love is selfish even if we aren't.

The second day of school is a way better than the first. Sophia and I are starting to talk more often and we're comfortable around each other. She's out going and I guess she doesn't take my shyness by rudeness which is kind of new to me.

"Hey, Ems, do you want to come and have lunch with me at Oxford Street?"

Sophia is really sweet and I'm glad that we're becoming friends. I think she understands me and respects my space. I'm glad I'm making friends.

"Ahm, I think so." I politely say.

"Great! Well, let's go eat!"

I really admire her good mood, she is always happy and excited.

We are passing on the hallway when I watch the curly haired guy right in front of me. I'm totally paralysed and I just keep looking at him. He is talking to a friend next to him when he looks down and sees me.

Oh My God, he just looked at me.

I feel my cheeks resembling two tomatoes so I look down to hide them behind my hair.

"What was that?" Sophia asks with humour in her eyes.

"What?" He looked at me that's what!!

"You and that guy.."

"What about it?" I stumble without knowing what to say.

"Oh My God, you like him!"

"What?! Psshht! Are you crazy?! I don't even know him." I can't like him, can I?

"Yes, you do! Emily is in love, Emily is in love la la lala la!" I instantly reach to cover her mouth with my free hand.

I can't believe that she said that I'm in love! And she's actually singing that..
