Bonus Chapter.

So some of y'all are probably like tf is a bonus chapter.

Basically last chapter I left drama between the parents and I didn't want to leave it there, so this little bonus chapter is going to show what had happened at the party once Ian and Nani left.

~Kalani's POV~

"Okay Kory let me get this straight.. you're with the bitch who hates me and trying to come back into my daughters life while having another woman pregnant?" I scoff.

"Why does it matter? Melanie hasn't done anything wrong to her, she's my daughter too she can except my relationship."

"She is not your daughter you've disrespected way to much I refuse to let you step foot near here."

He chuckles, "We can go to court if that's what you want?"

"Who the hell goes to court for a sixteen year old?" 

"When a bitch of a mom won't let her daughter see her dad."

"Okay that's enough Kory you can't just sit here and disrespect her like that." Devin says.

"Says the one who cheated on her."

"That was years ago we moved on from that, why is it so important for you to see her daughter anyways?"

"I just want to be a good dad for her."

"I already think I've done that." I hear Brandon's voice come closer, he did show up. "I was Nani's dad growing up you were not I raised her with her mother you did not she called me dad not you hell she still does she has no type of respect for you so I'm going to tell you once don't disrespect my girls again and stay away from my family." 

"You are so pathetic Brandon." He sighs shaking his head, Brandon only shrugs letting them walk away leaving an awkward silence.

"So.. that was your daughter?" Devin asks.

"Yeah." I mutter.

"She looks a lot like you." He says making me smile.

I look up at the woman who I guess is Devin's girlfriend or something and she's standing there awkwardly, "I'm sorry, I'm Kalani you are?"

"Cassie, nice to meet you." She smiles.

"We should leave, nice work on the label." Brandon says to Devin while wrapping an arm around me.

"Thanks, I'll the guys know by the way we'll be wanting advertising business." Devin says.

"Glad to help with the label, we'll see y'all later." He nods.

We walk out of the banquet to my car where he gets into the drivers side while I get into the passenger seat.

"Thanks for standing up for me."

"He's lucky I didn't beat his ass."

"He's lucky that I didn't who the hell does he think he is calling me a bitch?"

"Lani you're no where close to being a bitch your far from that you just want to protect your daughter from her dumbass dad, I respect that and he should too plus he has Melanie.. ew that was weird to say."

"You always know how to make me feel better." I laugh.

"That's what I'm here for." He smiles, letting silence flow in but it's not awkward but more calming and comfortable.. "Lani?"

"Yeah..?" I say looking up at him and he presses his lips against mine, whoa.

So yeah that's basically what happened, also this is the character list just no one gets confused because to be honest there's to many characters to keep up with so it's understandable.

Character List.

Daniel and Emiliana, married and their two kids are Bella (Oldest) and Lauren who's younger.

Kevin and Kirsten, also married, their kid is Rian who's the same age as Lauren.

Madison and Lucas, Madison is Summers sister, and their married with Giovanni as their only kid.

Summer, single, her kids Ian and Aurelia.

Kalani, and obviously her daughter is Leinani (confusing I know)

Kory and Melanie, Kory is Nani's actual dad who never wanted anything to do with her till now, Melanie is originally from 'Backs Turned' she's the girl Devin cheated on Lani with, and well Kory and Melanie together now and are expecting a kid, she's seven months.

Brandon who has no kids and is Kalani's best friend and also helped her raise Leinani.

Rose (Kalani's older sister the oldest of the three) her kid is Jordan (Not Jay, Jay is Nani's boyfriend) Jordan only goes by Jordan.

Jacob (Kalani's older brother making him the middle child) his kid is Chris who introduced Jay and Nani.

I don't think I missed anyone hopefully so yeah.
