-Zavier's POV-
Months have passed and still, no sign of Derrick. We've had to have searched every body of water by now. The only thing left is to search among the humans. Maybe he shifted and took refuge among them.
I leave my quarters and head to tell the king my plans.

I climb out of the water with the two who insisted that they come with me. One, for my brother, the other, to annoy me. "First, we need to buy supplies for us to survive. We can stay at a hotel-"
"Why don't we just stay at my place?"
I look at him like he's an idiot. "You have been gone for almost a year. I'm sure your house now has a new owner and all of your things are gone."
He shakes his head. "It's a family house. It can't be rented out or sold without my very own signature. I never leave my house unless I am coming to the beach. No one would've noticed I was even gone."
"No family? Friends?" Rodrick asks.
He shrugs. "None that are alive."
I start t feel a bit guilty. I'm just about to apologize when Rodrick speaks before I could.
"I have no one as well, well, except for Zavier." Rodrick's hand slips into mine as he says this and squeezes it lightly. "But, now, you have us. And Derrick. We just need to find him and Lui. Then we can go back home."
Riley smiles proudly and nods. "Okay."

Riley's house was very big for a single person. It's still too big even with us here. I don't know how Riley could live in his big house all alone.
He is leading us to our room, he didn't insist on us staying in separate rooms. I guess he was a little worried because he gave us the room farthest from his. He needn't worry though. Rodrick's not getting shit. We are here to look for my brother, not have irresistible sex that I am actually craving at this very moment. Dammit!
I can feel it growing in my swim shorts. I look up and Rodrick smirks at me while Riley just blushes. Shit. I forgot that his senses heightened when he became a merman.
"Uhh, if you give me the money, I'll go buy food and stuff."
I stomp into our oom as Rodrick gives him the money and gives him a pat on the head.
I hear him whispering to Riley, but I don't know exactly what. I glare at Rodrick when he comes in with a sadistic smirk lingering on his face. "Someone has been holding back," he teases.
I shake my head. "We have to find my brothers."
"I'm sure they won't mind me relieving a bit of your stress."
