Chapter 1: The truth

( One year after Nightmare Moon's defeat) 

"Midnight, are you in here?" I heard my wife ask.

"Yes, be right out, sweetie. " I answered from our room. "I'm looking for something for Tia." I said walking to her.

"Night court has started and I need help for some of the hearings." She asked me.

"They still think you belong in chains, Lulu?" I asked Luna knowing the answer for that question.

"Yes, Midy." She said, crying. "The same ponies?" She nodded yes.

"Order! Princess Luna is now here!" One of the bat pony guards yelled.

"Before we began this;  I will not hear any negative shit about my wife and if I do, well only one thing can save you from me." I said with my magic surrounding me. "Do we understand each other?" I asked them. I only saw them nod. "Good." I said, sitting down next to Luna.

"The first case will now held" Luna said. With me being there Night Count went well even if I threatened the noble ponies. 

~White Lotus POV~

"Loti, you in the garden?" Asked my wife, Celestia.

"Yes, Honey. I'm collecting some herbs for a portion for Midnight. It'll help he's anger." I told her, she smiled at me.

"You love him, don't you?" She asked me.

"Yes, I love my brother, but he's always protecting and guarding, never opening to nopony." I replied back. "He doesn't allow anypony in, because blames himself for your parents death." I told my wife.

"Why does he blame himself. He couldn't save them." Celestia told me.

It pains me to have lied to them for so long. "Midnight, he killed them------." Before I could finish talking, she ran off. "Oh shit!" I said running after her. "Honey, it wasn't him, an evil spirit is inside him." I said trying to catch her.

~Midnight Shadow's POV~

"Honey, please stop, it wasn't his fault!" I heard my brother say.

'So, brother you told her.' I said to myself, than a heard a knock on my door.

"Sister, what is wrong?" I heard my wife ask.

"I need to talk with Midnight." She told Luna.

 "So, you know Celestia?" I asked the crying ailcorn.

"Know what, Midy?" Luna asked me. For the first time in 200 years I couldn't move. I felt as if my world was ending.

'HAHAHA, so the cat's out of the bag!' I felt it say.

"I---I killed your parents, Lulu. I'm sor--" Before I could say anything else, she pinned me to the wall with her magic.

"WHY?! MIDNIGHT, WHY?!" She yelled at me, with tears flowing from her teal colored eyes.

"HAHAHA! You think he would kill them?" A dark voice said, destroying Luna's magical hold on me.

"M-Midnight?" She asked.

"No, my name is Nightshade. If you wouldn't have done that then, my other half would still be in control right now." Nightshade said, smiling. "Oh and if you are wondering why your lover has two beings in our body, then ask my brother." He continuing to say, as Lotus come rushing through the door. "Why speak of the devil! Would you like to explain why 'Midnight' has two souls?" Nightshade asked him, sitting down.

"NIGHTSHADE!!!!! WHY ARE YOU HERE, THE SEAL?!" He yelled, his magic now holding Nightshade to the wall. To this both of the sisters looked at each other.
